These reviews have succeeded in two things:
1. Making me more excited for the release of the game.
2. Making the next three days of waiting all the more intense.

It is decided, I'm bying Halo: Reach... Okay, it was decided long, long, long before, but at least now I'm reassured it's good.

Reach is best of the Halo series.
That means its even better then the first Halo, the one that supposedly invented FPS.

Couldn't you say that about any innovative game though? And really, being the first to do something is innovative, regardless of whether or not it would have been done otherwise.

Anyways, I look forward to playing Reach, and seeing how Bungie concludes their run with the series.

Why don't you make some more than? Personally, I see Reach as more than just a campaign and most others see it that way as well. If you're a Single-Player only gamer than buying a game where only 25% of the effort was put into Single-Player isn't really wise and I doubt you should expect the whole package out of a fraction of the entire game.

I actually played H3 multiplayer and i did get MVP, just not my type since i prefer my games offline. Ahh the good ol' Doom days, those were awesome.

Well, Halo Wars had Halo in the title and didn't exactly blow reviewers away. ODST didn't exactly win everyone over either even if the reviews were mostly solid.

You're right about the children and frat boys, but in this case it may not be quite as bad with the next CoD coming in only a couple of months. One can hope that they migrate there quickly enough.
