Han and Greedo : Am I missing something?

Actually he wasn't professional. In The books it clearly outlines that he was some "punk teenager" equivalent who didn't know shit about bounty hunting. Thus he got himself waxed. But yeah. Han Shot First!!!! And I was raised on the Special Editions.

To add to this, in certain sources (Star Wars For Kids magazine FTW!), his blaster could be compared to, say, a hunk of metal shit. So the whole reason for the miss is that Greedo is a shitty aim with a blaster that has a tendency to shoot straight up. Not that I'm defending the change or anything, but there ya go.
