That achievement in GMod, for opening the Spawn Menu 100,000 times. Gah, my hand still gurts from 2 months ago...
If you don't know, you pretty much have to keep pressing "Q". 100,000 times.
I just sat there, reading a book, and pressing the button with my other hand. Yeah, not too hard, but really damn boring.
Also, in Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, my friend and I worked for HOURS trying to get the Untouchable achievement.
You have to win a round of deathmatch with at least 4 players by reaching a frag limit of at least 25 without dying.
Meaning, reach the get to the frag limit without dying. HOLY HELL, deathmatch is hard.

I nearly died on day 6 because I had gotten distracted. After that I sat glued to the screen with an inventory full of chainsaws and OJ.A Mad Monk 2 said:

God i gave up at the start i was going complete it get as much G as possible then sell it for portal 2 (At i done before ps3 before PSN went down just before i got play co-op) I never would be able do that mainly because i hate multiplayer.

That game is just brutal for the achievements period. It isn't beat it on the hardest. You have to play it through on each difficulty (which should get you all the weapons). That game is a perfect example of lazy achievement design.theonlyblaze2 said:

That's not at all what it is. The achievement is to play a multiplayer match six months after your first time.Kyle Roberts said:

well the hard achievements that come to mind for me were ultimately worth it...guess I don't bust my balls for anything that's too too insane
hmmmm the Annual vidmaster achievement for Halo 3 was bloody annoying, but with a good team it wasn't too bad...for 0G lol
of course the real reward was Recon armor in Halo 3... I still don't have Endure from ODST

And since I'm on a HL theme, the "one free bullet" is actually so fucking hard. Just trying to kill all the head crap zombies is hard enough, then its antlions and combine at a train station.

Portal 2 is rife with this problem. Hug 3 people - 50 points. Don't die in all of the 4th course levels of multiplayer, 15 points.
Jump to your death for Pit Boss, 30 points. Portal Conservation Society - use only 5 portals to complete a course which is kind of a ***** to figure out, 20 points.
Seriously, that is crazy.
