Hardest achievement EVER!

I wouldn't say hardest, but one of the ones that annoyed me the most is the "Seriously 2.0" achievement from Gears of War 2. Basically kill 100,000 enemies.

It was 10,000, and i was at like 8.5k when my progress wiped itself

But my hardest achievement would probably finishing a level in Metal Slug 3 without miss.

In gears 2 it was 100k kills in all game modes. You're thinking of 10k online kills in gears 1.

Personally the hardest achievement I've encountered is either I Am Bad Company from Battlefield: Bad Company, The Inhuman Achievement from Guitar Hero III, or Exterminator from FEAR (you need to kill every enemy in the game, including the enemies who run away, and the ghosts).

Dodgeing 200 lightning bolts or getting below zero seconds in the chocobo races in FFX, I have tried for days at a time and I still cannot get them.

actually i havent got gears 1, but if it IS 100,000 then i was on like 85,000 when it wiped...

crap....

thats even worse.

lots of good suggestions to the hardest achievement but I may have forgot to mention the Marathon achievement in Trials HD, that one took me ages!!!

Nearly every level after the first few in COD:WAW

That achievement from Duke Nukem Forever, where you have to meet the girl and have three kids.

I only managed to get that one using a walkthrough.

You've got to hold down the B button, it's like pokemon.

Beat Ultimate last boss achievement on The Last Remnant is because you have to do everything to get to him and level everyone up right and still it's the hardest boss going, beat it for 200g, last time I checked less that 100 people have it

Hey I got that achievement! Yeah that Conquerer was a b*tch to beat. Funny how I only used two Unions to beat him.

I believe some of the acheivments in Final Fantasy XI are insanley time consuming.... Only like 10 people in the world have the full GS (how many of them earned it without cheating is debatable).
