Master Blaster. Shadowrun. 100 kills with the rocket launcher. Seems easy, but it isn't. The rocket launcher itself costs $5000 and an extra $1000 per rocket. And they're very unreliable. Walk around with a rocket launcher and you're asked to be killed on sight.

For me I haven't even earned them
1. No Challenge Too Hard Clear HARD Trial in Challenge Mode on Street fighter IV
2. Mile High Club Sky dive to safety on Veteran difficulty on COD4
3. I chose the impossible complete Bioshock without the vita-chambers
i actually found the complete bioshock without vita chambers to be pretty easy. i never used them on my original playthrough and didnt even know it was an achievement.

G.R.A.W: it was to get on top of every online leader board
That reminds me of a really nasty one from Kengo: Legend of the 9 for Xbox 360.

Master: Won 100 online matches with a ranking in the top 1%.

These two are from Peggle--
Ace of Adventure (20,000,000 points in a single Adventure play-through)
and
Doctor of the Peggle Arts (Clear all pegs in all levels)

They are driving me CRAZY!!! I mean, like, I feel like I'm pretty damn good at this game, but wow these are very hard for me!

Sometimes when playing a game you like, you may come across an achievement that seems hard, even impossible to complete. So I am just wondering, what was your Hardest Achievement EVER!

For me it has to be completing Call of Duty: World at War on veteran difficulty, I spent so many hours effortlessly trying to complete those last 2 painful levels of grenade spamming AI and infinate waves of enemies. I eventually pulled through however, and was so relieved when it was finally done.
yeah that one can be a pain too...

But, but what about assasinating the general with a pistol. Veteran was a nuisance killing that dude with a pistol is just a pain in the ass.

I wouldn't say hardest, but one of the ones that annoyed me the most is the "Seriously 2.0" achievement from Gears of War 2. Basically kill 100,000 enemies.
This is the first achievement I'd suggest. Because unless you got a mounted machine gun or a sniper (this being a good shot), you can work with just 1 kill for half a minute.

Pro-runner in mirrors edge. Not shooting anybody (includs cops) it's wayyy harder than most think it is. i gave up during the sniper load out near the end.

Oh, and beating Bullet Witch on hell mode. The only thing you get for it is a measly 5 point achievment

I have to go with "You Got The Touch!" From the God of War PS3 release.
"Climb the spiked tower of Hades without taking a single hit"
Fuck you, Sony Santa Monica.
I almost ate my controller doing it on the PS2 version, I'm never gonna do it on the PS3 version.

ummm it aint 7 real days, its 7 game day which clocks about 14 hours of real time.
Still the hardest acheivment though...who has 14 solid hours?

I wouldn't call them Hard, but a lot of WoW achievements require tons and tons of game time to achieve.

Not the hardest but not shooting anyone in mirrors edge was a massive lesson on self control

Ok you're wrong, it's not 7 real days, it's seven game days, I should know, I attempted it.

It's about 42 hours of real time, which means at best about 5 days of real time.

If it doesn't RROD your xbox, you're lucky, and You DEFINITELY need to eat because your life constantly ticks down

Completing the Halo 3 campaign on 'Legendary' difficulty. I'm still stuck on the second level in 'Heroic'. How the hell are you supposed to do that?!

It's not that hard, really. You just need to take a different approach than you would in a normal playthrough.

Steal car, drive around underground to the other car. Keep going back and forth from car to car and you get it eventually. Not too hard, just really annoying and boring.

Personally, I'm going for beating Dishwasher - Dead Samurai on the hardest difficulty: "Got The Hat."
