The Supreme Hunter in Prototype. Really, what in the hell is so hard about him? Just run around in a circle, absorb some humans to reach critical mass, wait for him to come near you and devastate his ass. Throwing the helicopters at him also works.
He kept blocking my Air Slice attacks, so I switched to Whip Fist and wore him down that way. Then again, every boss in Prototype was easy. The Supreme Hybrid and the big worm thing were just annoying. The Specialist was fun though.
The same goes for Elizabeth Green. People bitched about her constantly. What the hell is so hard about running up a building, jumping off and air slicing the crap out of her? The green orbs got a tiny bit annoying, but all you had to do was stand on a building and the orbs would smash into it and get destroyed. =|
It wasn't Greene herself that annoyed me, it was that when I got near her and charged up my Devestator attacks a frickin' Hunter would fugging knock me over. THAT'S what annoyed me.
lol They were a little annoying, but not that much. I didn't bother to run up to her. Running up to her like that screams out "I WANNA EAT YOUR INSTANT DEATH WAVE!!" as opposed to wall running and air slicing her.
Once I was like ten metres away from her when she started instant death wave attack. I still got away.
I love air dashing.

All the end guys in fallout 3 were easy. i was expecting at least a fairly large battle. also, the end boss in bioshock was so eeasy i even did it on survivor mode on my ps3 and still found it pathetic. the rest of the game utterly kicked my head in every five minutes, but the last boss was laughable.

You got away by air dashing and I hit the building running. :p

A hunter saved my ass from her death wave, too. I was in mid attack when she started charging it. A hunter smacked me and sent me flying into a wall. Recovered mid air and escaped by the skin of my ass.

To run extra fast you do an air dash a split second before you hit the ground. Alex just hits the ground running extremely fast.

Easiest: Prince of Persia Two Thrones, both of them. Awesome game, but I couldn't believe how many hits from Zervan the Prince could survive. He could barely live through FOUR shots from most of the Sand monsters in the tower, but over a dozen from the so-called 'God'. And of course it is not even possible to lose to the Dark Prince... although I haven't checked out what happens if you just sit there killing the endless clones forever. Hold on a sec. *Tromp tromp tromp*

Hardest: Dracula in Castlevania Order of Ecclesia. There are of course final bosses that I've never beaten but that's due to not trying very hard to so do. Drac took me at least 50 tries, as I still have yet to figure any way to dodge his 'Hellhound Summon/Destruction Rain' combo. I'd say Soul Steal is actually EASIER to avoid when Alucard uses it. This may also be the first Dracula to possess multiple one-hit kill attacks such as his Bat Wave (well the one in Portrait of Ruin had two but they were both easy to prevent or dodge). Pure lethality. If they keep this gradual scaling up of his power, Lord of Shadows may have a Dracula equaling the one from IWTBTG: nothing but one and two-hit kills.

Hardest: Voldemort on the first Harry Potter game. Odd choice but that son of a *****, just would not die!

Easiest: Yep, easily Fable 2.
Hell Yeah I remember that Wizard Chess crap and then the Mirror of Blahblah vividly as a child RUINED Me.

Easy? Halo... 2? 3? A crippled old alien in a wheelchair? Beat him in the face once or twice? *Shrug*

Hard? Diablo 2 expansion: Diablo and Baal were both quite troublesome the first few times.

Before Jericho by Clive Barker there was another by Clive Barker game: Undying. Which was pretty cool, and way better than the more recent one (or so versed people tell me).
The final creature of the game, a malformed mix of Cthulhu and an inexpertly concocted pudding, was close to impossible to destroy (hence, probably, the name of the game).
BUT, if you knew the very precise method of where to stop and what to do in which sequence (which took you loads of tries after an annoyingly long and unavoidable pre-fight to find out), were you able to then, dispatch it with revolting ease.

So both answers to your question are the same vile and vulnerable Old One-ish thing, from Undying.

easiest boss: any of the "bosses" from the .Hack saga. i was able to defeat every one of them by letting my teammates attack it while i stayed back and healed. worked every time.

hardest boss: the final boss battle in Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. it's not that the battles themselves are hard in the least, it's just hard to find the freakin' half hour it takes to do the whole battle, plus cut-scenes and stuff.

Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts.
Indeed, especially from KH1. I was a bit dissapointed with the difficulty of Sephiroth in KH2, once I beat him, I felt like the challenge was over, whereas I could go back and fight Sephiroth in KH1 over and over again, not getting bored.

The original "Devil May Cry" was the last time I can recall a boss of any kind giving me trouble. That game forced me to ramp up my gaming skills to the point now where I don't think anything could ever really give me any trouble at all.

I do have to say that the final stage of "Advance Wars" for the GBA is a stage that i still have not beaten to this day.

yes lloyd thank you,

and in my mind he was the final boss, the game made him the villian in the beginning, it took 10 hours to get there, he was the end.. the rest just seemed to drag on

Darth Nihilus was pathetically easy, especially considering the build-up he's given all the way through KOTOR2. Malak was a breeze as well.

In fact, by the end of that game the Exile must be the most powerful Jedi in the history of the universe, since nobody poses even the tiniest threat to him/her.

the hardest boss i've had was the Gates of Hell from The Last Remnant and also Hinnah and Hannah from same the game for this reason which i will spoiler

The Gates Of Hell can take control of your party members after its killed them and Hinnah and Hannah, just before you kill one of them, their final act is heal the other one up to full health and they both have health of roughly 190000hp and the attacks get A HELL OF A LOT STRONGER!!!

easiest would be any 'boss' from fable 2.
