Hardest Video Game Bosses

Ruby/Emerald Weapons from FFVII. I beat Emerald after figuring out a plan, but I haven't figured a method for beating Ruby.
Ozma from FFIX was the most memorable pain-in-the-ass boss fight I've had.
The last handful of bosses for Armored Core were also difficult.
If anyone's ever beaten Duriel on Diablo 2 without dying or fleeing to town once, I'd be highly impressed. Melee-badass + small fighting area with nowhere to hide = Lots of dying (for me, at least).

from far cry instincts "Krouser" or whatever his name was. it took 34 tries about, until i realized you have to kill all the guards then kill him otherwise he is invincible. dam youuuu
then there's good ol "fortune" from mgs2 xbox version the first time you fight her. you cant kill her she curves your bullets, i didn't know that. i didn't die tho.
er there was also the lift(elevator) in mass effect, at the citadel... i bet you are wondering why... well ill tell you...IT TAKES AGES. and what happens if you just arrive and push the lift button again by accident...another 30 second spent in that darn contraption.

As someone said - ALMA (1st fight) from ninja gaiden xbox. Nothing in that game compared to her
Ultima weapon in ff6, I think it was. The guy you fight at the top of a tower who does the ultima 9999 damage spell on your whole party when he dies. Damn

Mike tyson - punch out (+the indian guy before i figured out how to beat his special attack)
Not a boss per se, but the golden horde/timurid invasions in the medieval total war games could under some circumstances be a real nightmare.
The thief forest boss playing alone on the hard setting in castle crashers. Cant beat it and i maxed everything except agility lvl 60+

i found the first time i fought a cerebus on god of war was hard because i hadnt noticed the babies flying off screen, when i noticed thing protecting the gate hadnt disappeared and ran toto the other side of the "arena" sort of thing there was about ten of em waiting for me

She was a ***** in a half. I swore like a sailor during that one and had to stop myself from breaking the controller. At least you get a sense of "HAH! I beat you!" when you finally do it.Strafe Mcgee said:

Metal Gear Rex from Metal Gear Solid (1). This boss is fucking insane. I just can't get pass him!!!!
