Harold and Kumar go to ... my neighborhood?

I went for a bike ride around my neighborhood today, intent on wishing a happy Independence Day to all I came across (What? It's middle America, we get off on that kind of thing. Shut up.) and on nearly every street I went down I found refuse from a White Castle. The nearest White Castle is over 2 miles away. All I could think was that a couple of stoners had gone on a quest to achieve mighty White Castle tastiness and somehow got lost in my neighborhood. And didn't invite me.

Have you seen any evidence of movie or tv madness in your neighborhoods? If you haven't and you could, who or what would you want to see? Who or what what wouldn't you want to see?

On the top of my Not In My Neighborhood list is Jack Bauer. I see him or a creepy black government van on my street and I'll be in the basement for the next 24 hours.

Harold and Kumar really piss me off because the "weed" is obviously tobacco... and a movie about pot really should have pot in it or at least a decent looking substitute.

drugs 101, if your dealer sells you this:

You just got ripped off. This is what you're looking for:

A scene from Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls was actually(read: supposedly) shot at a place a few hours from my hometown.

I know. Movies and tv shows have no problem teaching the young ones about the joys of alcohol, but marijauna? Noooo, that's a "drug"!

thats because its highly illegal and glorifies it. It's basically telling kids its ok to ruin your life and rot your brain with it. Feel free to attempt to defend its use but trying to defend such things is like trying to defend a crack whore stabbing someone for their tv to sell for more cocaine.

Edit:
"Attracted by tax incentives that went into effect Jan. 1, Universal Pictures has committed to shooting portions of its upcoming Johnny Depp film "Public Enemies" in Wisconsin, Gov. Jim Doyle said Tuesday.

The movie is likely to include scenes filmed at locations in Milwaukee, Baraboo, Oshkosh, Madison and Columbus, Wis., said Scott Robbe, executive director for Film Wisconsin and a leader behind the development of the tax incentive program."

The hotel portion in Tucson was actually shot in Tucson, about 2 hours from where I live. You can tell which it is cuz I think there's a cactus out front.

It's fuck all like that and that doesn't explain his comparison about alcohol being fine to glorify.

TV madness I guess. My friend, who lives 30 seconds away from me, had a dog, which had many puppies. Jeremy Clarkson's wife bought one! BOO YA!

Well, I live on the same island where they filmed Jurassic Park.
And right now they're filming Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 here, too.
My parents even met Johnny Depp without telling me where they were going.

That's a pretty random comparison to make. Besides, weed isn't really "worse" than alcohol, aside from it being illegal.

What about How High? and Half-Baked? They show the fun of pot.
Don't forget Pineapple Express!

You're more likely to do those things with alcohol than with pot. Actually pot under normal/light use has no lasting effect on the brain.
