They should?ve started splitting them with Phoenix really. That worked for LotR becuase...well...LotR described things in waaaaaaaaay too much detail, really, so it wasn't as long as it seemed.
They really should?ve at least given them the lotr treatment: a theatrical release and a special edition dvd release that adds an extra hour of the stuff cut out.
I loved the books and while I understand that as they get longer it gets harder to follow them faithfully for a theatrical release, I?m getting increasingly fed up with what they choose to cut out. The last straw was the big battle cut out of the end of HBP.
Are they really releasing those a year apart? Why not make one a winter and the next a summer?
