I like the movies and the books, I am glad they are splitting it into multiple parts, and I think they should have done the same for HalfBlood Prince, too really.

It'd be better than cramming it all into one movie.

That worked for LotR becuase...well...LotR described things in waaaaaaaaay too much detail, really, so it wasn't as long as it seemed.
They should?ve started splitting them with Phoenix really. If the last movie(s) are really going to follow the last book faithfully, it?s not going to make any sense, at least for those who only saw the movies.
They really should?ve at least given them the lotr treatment: a theatrical release and a special edition dvd release that adds an extra hour of the stuff cut out.
I loved the books and while I understand that as they get longer it gets harder to follow them faithfully for a theatrical release, I?m getting increasingly fed up with what they choose to cut out. The last straw was the big battle cut out of the end of HBP.
Are they really releasing those a year apart? Why not make one a winter and the next a summer?

I'll admit it. I'm a little excited. Even if the whole middle of the book is the trio sitting around going, "I don't know what we are supposed to be doing."

I hope they don't include that part in the movie.

Daniel Radcliff - Sorry but one of the worst actors ever. He just never changes from that same blank expression and all his lines are given in the same boring way. That, among other reasons, is why I never bothered with the films.

Same old trailer business, I suppose. Oh well, I'll probably be seeing this when it comes out, if only to lay it rest properly.

Movie trailers are 'unleashed' these days, huh? I obviously hadn't got the memo.

Being serious and on topic: 3D? 2 Parts? I may wait until it releases on DVD before I bother with this. I mean, I stopped enjoying the books by this point so I'm not particularly interested or engaged. That said, since I will most likely see it eventually, so I sincerely hope it's at least mildly enjoyable.

Whell if you split it up in two parts it isn't really a finale now is it?
