Has anyone actually kept their Wii that has bought one?

Most people who let their wii sit in the dust just didn't spend enough time seeing what games that are good versus seeing all the crap and there is a lot of crap that is released for the wii.
This, basically.

I've kept mine, but I mostly play VC games on it (hey, I finally got my grubby little paws on a copy of Secret of Mana, so I'm happy). I still do SSBB, NMH, MW, MP3, RE4 and a couple other Wii exclusives, though.

Harvest Moon... mixed with Azure Dreams?
Be right back, I'm adding that to my shopping list.

My Wii is still around but it's been abandoned in favour of my 360, I got tired of the lack of hardcore games so decided to switch sides.

No, I have no plans of getting rid of mine, but I bought it to play virtual console games, mostly.
I think there are some real gems on the Wii, but there's just a lot of crap too. Anyone you hear complaining on forums will usually know enough about games to not buy the shovelware, so I don't know why people are complaining.

Yes, I still have my Wii. Yes, I still play it. Mostly Brawl, but I did just go through Madworld 3 times (it's that awesome).

I've had my Wii since day one.

But lately it's sitting there next to the more often used PS2, and for now, the X-Box 360 that my friend brought while he stays over at my place for the summer.

I've still got mine, but then I only got it a month ago so it'd be a bit pointless to get rid so quickly.

I'm not really playing it though - I'd like to, but the motion sensor doesn't play nicely with the TV I'm using at the moment.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: Yes, why the hell would I get rid of it when there's so many games I haven't played, and when the games I have played I really like?

I actually still have it for some weird reason.

I guess I'm just waiting for them to announce a new Zelda and I know that as soon as I do sell it they'll announce it.

I still have mine. I don't play it that much anymore, but the same goes for all my game systems. I don't even play my PC games very much lately, it's more of a school thing than a Wii thing.

Personally I have tried all three next gen systems and found that the Wii is the only one I like.

Yep. I play Brawl occasionally, and occasionally pick up a promising game like Madworld. Had a few Boom Blocks extravaganzas, and enjoyed some nostalgia from the Virtual Console. Id go crazy if I didn't have a PC and a 360 doing all the heavy lifting, but Wii is a fine secondary console.

I've had my Wii since a few months after launch, and since I alternate which system I play my games on next, I'm never scrambling to find a core game for any system. As such, I never bought into this hysterical premature Wii hate.

Bring on the accusations of fanboyism! The term's lost all meaning anyway! =D

Bought my Wii the day Super Smash Bros Brawl came out. Still only have 1 game for it, and I very rarely play it anymore. Really is a shame, because it has a lot of potential. There's just been zero good games for it since early last year.

Also, this has nothing at all to do with my ridiculous addiction to CoD4(360). Nope, nothing at all.

I kept mine, from a couple of weeks after its UK release to the present, and I still use it on a regualar basis even though I own a 360. If you take the time to sift through the crap you find there are a few titles which make it well worth the £180. Case and point Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, SSBB and Okami. I'd rather have a few great games than numerous FPSs, each of which is more homogenous than the last.

I still have mine, and use it (couple of times a week). I've been trying to beat Madworld and Zach & Wiki so I can decide whether or not to trade them in. I need to rent Super Paper Mario again so I can beat it, and I'm waiting for Klonoa to come out (for rent, I know it's in stores). I also use mine to play GC games, like Paper Mario and Ikaruga. I wanna get it hooked up to the internet again so I can download Starfox 64. I really need to get back to my Zelda games: I got Twilight Princess for Christmas (5 months before I got the actual system), and have Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past on virtual console.
