Has anyone ever seen or even played an "Adult only" Game?

The Adults Only rating is rarer than rare.

Even from an economic standpoint it's just not smart- Surprisingly the array of sub-mature rated games still out-sell mature rated games, and on average the quality is also typically some what better. Shovelware withstanding.

It gets worse for AO games. Most don't go stocked by your average store. Getting an AO rating is like getting the NC-17 rating in the US. It's almost the Coup de Gras.

Honestly the only company that deals exclusively in those types of games that comes to mind is Alicesoft in Japan, and they're a strictly bare-bones structure for game production. Most of their development teams numbers less than 30 or 40 people, and most of the games stick to 2D. Ah, Japan.

Only one I can think of, was for Playstation.

It had a red head chick wearing nothing but gun holsters on her hips.

Never played it, but PSM ran an article on it, and she made their Top 10 Videogame Girls Swimsuit edition once. (At Number 1, actually)

Sorry, let me start again.

According to wiki, there are 23 titles with the AO. 3 of them don't really count, 1 was pulled before release and 2 were on non-gaming systems, DVD and CD-i. Thus were probably interactive movies. So it leaves twenty titles and the PC version of Manhunt 2 was the only one I recognized, aside from Indigo Prophecy and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, which were only AO as director's cuts. I've never seen any of these AO titles on a store shelf other than Manhunt 2, which was only stocked in "M" rated console form.

So what is the problem here? How can kids get they're hands on AO games, when distributors don't even stock them?
they cant, unless they pirate them, and if they have the know how to pirate games, then there's literally NOTHING, no depraved sexual activity or grotesque real photographic violence, that they can't get ahold of.

New Zealand is full of douchebags, so every single FPS is R16, and a few of the more violent ones like Condemned are R18. Other than GTA, the only R18S games I've seen are the Playboy Mansion games.
