Has this site become even slower for you since the update?

It seems to be running slower than usual for me, but it could be a part of the mysterious network problems I've been having; basically, despite all of the tests I know how to run telling me that my network is fast and reliable, about the only sites that consistently load for me are Google and Facebook. Everything else has a tendency to throw up an error instead of loading. I'm not sure what it's going on, but it's effecting every computer in the house.
A note to the people who are waiting more than a few seconds for a post to upload: your post probably went through in the first 30 seconds or so. Try opening another tab to the thread; your post should be there. This is a bug that I've been encountering since well before the update, although the frequency has gone up since they redesigned the site.

Yeah, it's unnecessarily slow on my computer as well, so much so that it gets to a point where I have to wonder whether or not my posts got through. :/ Also, even though it seems some of the website's sections are condensed, it's a lot harder to find updates for some of my favorite content, and it's not always clear when I have messages waiting to be read.
It was pretty bad, but it's recovering pretty well for me.

Yes. It has. I was actually going to make a thread about it, but I didn't want to be "That Guy" I'm actually quite disappointed with The Escapist. I do not like the new look very much, but I sure do not like the increased wait time. Hopefully, they see this thread and fix shit.
Yes, there's been a general increase in lag, especially when I post a comment.
And I can't edit my comments because the server stops responding.
It was really brutal on wednesday, took 5 minutes to load up a thread topic. Yeah, I know it's ZP traffic, but it still was never that slow.

Actually I've been having no problems as of yesterday with connection. It's been abit better for me from before the change.

On Wednesday I couldn't even load the site until some time around 9 PM, ZP goes up at noon my time. And, due to the lack of the featured content bar on the side most pages, I almost forgot that Critical Miss and Escape to the Movies updated today.RatRace123 said:

It has been slower. That will probably improve with time, but it is annoying.
And sometimes the bar at the top doesn't load properly and all that I get is white. It's still loaded as I can still select stuff, it's just that I can't see what I'm selecting until I'm over it.
