For earlier episodes he was averaging around 200 comments on each video, in the middle up in the dizzying heights or around 400 per episode, now it's barely 100.
Are you including FB posts?

As for me, I'm still an avid watcher of ZP. Yahtzee's the reason I first joined this site, following him here from YT. But I've never posted on any of his videos (that I remember.)

Nope, still an avid watcher. Although Yahtzee has to share my attention with Jim now, but there's more than enough to go 'round.

Yes. Long time ago. I haven't watched a new episode in a very long time. I think I just grew out of his humor. He tends to make a lot of tit and dick jokes and I really don't find those funny anymore. Even looking back on episodes that I remember liking a lot, when I re-watched some, I didn't even chuckle.

The Wolfenstein one will always be awesome though.

I really only watch it for the games I'm interested in. Apart of that, it just plays out as more of the same old. Still entertaining but not as fresh anymore.

I tend to watch them out of habit more than interest/entertainment. I guess I just got tired of it.

Everyone here knows about him and how he would probably react now so it's not really controversial anymore. BUT!, ZP is still popular on other sites over the net and I know a couple of people who are catching up to it on Youtube. So most of the comments aren't here really.

I still love the show, and routinely marathon it. I just stay away from the comments section because it tends to be a couple of pages of people getting suspended for not having anything to say, and then people getting into arguments about whether Mr. Croshaw's clearly inherently subjective opinion is objectively right.

I think what he needs now is a break to recharge his (and our) "Yahtzee-batteries". I love his style, but I can usually guess what he's going to say next.

I still look forward to ZP every week. Like so many others he was the reason I came to The Escapist, and yes they have much more content I look forward to every week, but I still bookmark ZP each time. I still watch each one several times to make sure there's nothing i missed. I still get a few genuine laughs from each one too. As indicated by my post count relative to my time here, I just don't post very often.

I've never commented on ZP, and I was sorta late to joining to the forums, but I still watch the show it's entertaining and I've agreed on his comments on many a game. News to me that his views or comments are lower. I think we just need a new Nintendo game for him to pick apart and then we'll have people raging like usual.

Someone get him to review Ocarina of Time, there'll be a landslide of people screaming "But it's the best game ever" no, not it isn't.

I used to lapse a lot before making the site my homepage. Nothing intentional tho. Still the best feature on the site with Jim's stuff not far behind.

I have seen everyone since the Clive Barkers Jericho and haven't stopped since. But I never comment.

Every Wednesday is Yahtzee day! ( It should be a thing )

Yep, I still enjoy ZP and look forward to it every week but I haven't bothered commenting on it in a long time. Partly because I don't really comment on the forums much at all these days, but mostly because there's only a certain number of variations on "good episode, I agreed/disagree with (item), (joke) made me laugh" before you're just redundantly repeating what's been said by a bunch of others - I'd be willing to bet that's the same for a lot of people.

The addition of Facebook comments and the fact that the videos are also published on YouTube these days might be another explanation for why there's fewer forum-based comments than there used to be.

I never commented on ZP like some others, but yes, your sentiment is correct in my case, cookyy. I enjoyed his earlier episodes, and the middle ones immensly, but I got tired a bit in the last year or so. I'll pop in and watch it now and then, though. Maybe it's because of the opening and closing theme? I dunno. Could be.
