Yes, On Soul Calibur 4 - after easily beating a guy who was bragging in the lobby he accused me of "hacking" and left the game...

I was playing this card game, I don't recall the name, and someone called bluff and they were right, darn!

Anyways when you get the hell shot out of you and you are pissed off you say illogical things, if you are losing a game and a twat is making fun of you for it, accusing him of things isn't rare. I'm as irritated at the people who taunt people in multiplayer PvP games as I am at the people who accuse others of cheating. Possibly off-topic but I had to put it out there because I hear SO many people act like the victim when others accuse them of cheating.

Yep, Counter Strike source I shot a guy really quickly in the head and all I got was "OMG AIM BOT YOU SUCK"

I also apparently wall hack on TF2, hey not my fault you can't see a sniper across the map.

Too many times to count. I've played CoD4 competitively so if you use anything from that level in a pub they just assume you're hacking. Generally it's because I can tell where someone is from the sounds they're making so it's fairly easy to shoot through a wall at them. Plus if you hit them that little mark appears on your crosshairs so it's not all blind guessing.

Hmm, I recall one time, right after the spy vs Sniper update on TF2. I got the Dead ringer within the first half hour of the update and was zooming around with that. Some guy kept calling me out for "spawn-hacking" because I stabbed him a few seconds after he thought he had killed me a few times. (Basicly, the Dead Ringer fakes your death and shows a fake kill message for the one that killed you.) Is there even anything called spawn hacking?

We managed to explain to him what the Dead Ringer did in the end though, so there were no hard feelings.

Counterstrike: Source

Reason: I killed a team of 12 counter-terrorists on my own, using a variety of weapons and tactics, after my whole team was killed without killing a single enemy. I was slow with buying my equipment, and when I was finally ready to roll, everyone was already dead.

Afterwards, half of the people on the server accused me of cheating (especially the ct's, because they couldn't see what I was doing), and while some were defending me (who were following me when they died), everyone was unhappy because they lost all their money with betting against me. That was pure brilliance, I felt like Rambo.

I also expected to be accused of cheating in TF2, because (excuse the ego stroking) I'm pretty damn good as a Sniper. But that never happened, I guess I mostly play on mature servers.

Oh gosh, mainly in some oldies but goodies.

Service: Uh, PC?

Game: Starsiege: Tribes

I played that damn game for 9 years. I knew it inside and out damnit. If you don't learn a map's every nook and cranny and how to lob a mortar into someone's face in 9 years, just give up the damn game.

Game: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

I loved the KAR. Headshotting someone from 3/4 of the map away with that thing was beyond all types of fun. I used it exclusively until I stopped playing so I was decent with it, but I was accused of aimbotting with it all the time.

Game: Halo: Combat Evolved

I always payed attention to sounds. It's amazing what you can tell when you listen. That and I always did pretty good with those sticky 'nades. Could smack people with them from pretty far away. It probably had something to do with my time with Tribes as I'd learned how to manage arcing weapons quite well.

I don't really play many online games now besides MMO's so there haven't been any recently.

I got regularly accused of cheating when I played Dawn of War 2. I wasn't even that good, I was at best above average, but I played to win, and some players took my killing of their units as a sign of cheating. My LIVE rating was down to about 1.5 stars, and I never even insulted anyone, said a mean word or anything like that. I'd politely say "Hello" and get to work. As soon as I wiped out the first few enemy units, my screen would light up "Cheater!", "I'll report you!", "Noob!" and things like that...

Yep, quite a bit actually.

All of these are from Counter Strike Source.

Gotten banned for aimbotting when I just headshotted people. Yes it's easy in CSS. But the fun thing was. After being accused of cheating I just aimed at the stomach with the MP5 and got 2 kills in a row and they said. "Yep, totally cheating". Evil Germans!

Gotten the entire other team to leave the server because I dominated them to much. I was the one who had most kills in the server and at least 3-4x more than the others.

Been accused of aimbotting while using Famas, AK and M4.

Repeat the aimbot claim like 5 more times and that sums it up. Now I don't know how many of those where kids but I'm pretty good at CSS. Also I strictly play public servers too.

Generally it happens when I snap onto their heads with AK and headshot them a bit to quick. Like over and over. :D

When some mofo joins a L4D campaign and name hacks. I think it has happened twice but it definitely happened once yesterday he hacked my name and I went after him to kill him because he can't do shit when he's dead. I got baned for killing him.

Yeah, on Gears of War 2 I took all the other team on my own when all my team mates were dead, all I did was circle strafe around them all and spam melee to death with a Longshot, worked wonders.

Got message spammed by them calling me a noob hacker.

I was accused of cheating once on Counter strike source.

It was just me and this other guy left in office. I thought I heard him in the next room so I took out my flashbang to blind him. He obviously had the same assumption and ran through the door at me. I got a fright and threw my flashbang at his face. I was blinded and when my sight came back I saw him on the floor... I killed him with the flash bang.

Obviously he accused me of cheating until the admin of the server explained to him that grenades do some damage if they hit someone and he had 2 health left.

Twas a funny day.

I accuse people of hacking when my mic is of, because I know they are not, but it just feels good.

at one time in GOW2, I was just gaming, and losing, and did the regular swearing/calling them hackers/noobs, and my mic was on...

I have been called a hacker in Crysis, when I found a nuke launcher, and just random fired at stuff, then he shot me, and called me a hacker...

Service: Steam.

Game: Team Fortress 2.

Reason: I was doing a superb job as a Sniper, so a guy on BLU decided that I must be using a aimbot, which I wasn't.

Reason: I was a spy and made a quick maneuver around them to backstab. They thought I passed through them, and since you can't pass through enemy players, he accused me of having a no clip hack. Really, I usually don't play spies so it wasn't a skillful move, but the game wouldn't let me play Scout...
OT: Why does it do that? I still haven't figured out the deal with being not allowed to play certain characters at times.
It's part of the new updates for some reason. On some servers it will disallow certain classes or limit the amount of people who can play as a class per team. This normally boils down to one medic and no spies.

The best example I had was when i built a teleporter in the first section of Dustbowl. So every time they destroyed the sentry and killed me I went back and built another sentry. That and when I discovered the (now patched) glitch where you could stand on a dispenser underneath a point and you would count as blocking it.

people can fidle with the servers in game so they can limit the number of scout players and every other player its irratating when its changed so every one has to be a certain class and its normally the classes i dont like :(

ot: got accused of cheating on gow2
i had some pretty bad lag and was jumping all over the place and not taking damage
one guy decided to acuse me of cheating so i ran over to him an shot him it failed and i got killed another one from gow2 got accused of auto aim with the sniper rifle but it was only because most the team was sat in the house on river and were easy targets

Yes, once.

Service: STEAM

Game: Counter Strike: Source: Gungame Pro mod

I play Gungame A LOT, one day whilst on my favourite GG server of the teim I ended up playing two against one. Gungame prop requires two kills (as default) to advance a level, so every time I killed them both I went up a level, whilst they would have to kill me twice each to go up one (Gun game favours the brave outnumbered!).

As a result I was on the P-90 before either of them were past the early pistols. One starts talking to the other in Teamspeak and the other replies on Alltalk, so I only hear half of it. But it went.

"Yeah, he's gotta be,"
"Yeah, I'd do that, go for it,"

Promptly Banned Permanently.

Or so they thought, unfortunately for them, I was head admin of the server at the time. I'd even given the guy his bloody admin powers! He didn't keep those very long, I gave them both a one week ban from all servers 'for being dicks'.
There were some hilarious grovelling emails too...
