Yes, I've been accused. No, I didn't get banned. No, I never cheat.

I killed a guy from quite a distance with the Heavy's minigun. I was only trying for a little collateral damage as I could not get closer. The scatter mechanic sent several bullets right into his head, and pow, down he went. I was as surprised as he was. Of course he immediately started screaming about hax. There was a mod present at the time, I explained what happened, he said he was cool with it. Not much of a story, I guess.

It happens to me now and then in MW2. I recall that I also got banned from a Black Ops server (which was a awesome server because I had like 30-50 ping and it was only 12 players) because I was a unstoppable killing machine. A friend of mine gets accused of hacking a lot though because he's usually host in MW2 and actually aims before going around a corner. I always just take it as a compliment though and make fun of them.

all the time apparently no one can get 20+ kd on halo reach swat against Whinging 10 year old without having an aim bot
i get this so often. nearly every time i get a SWAT frenzy i get "wtf hax." i then point out that i missed a few shots and if he couldn't kill me after i miss the first shot it's his own damm fault

OT: one time back in halo 3 my teammates left on citadel so it was me and my sister (who is a pretty decent guest) against this party of 4 that was absolutely pathetic, to the point where the 2 of us were beating them something like 34-8. i killed one of them and heard him over the mike in an 8 y.o. voice "haxxor!!"

In RDR I did, since I mastered the auto lock on. (sarcasm)
Because of my constant headshooting, I was called a hacker. I explained how all you have to do, due ot the auto aim, is lock on, and flick up. If you do it right, headshot. I just realized this early on, and got good at taking advantage of it.

Back in my COD4 domination days, i got reported and avoided alot because everyone thought i was using a mod with the g3 and m14, even though it was just my lightning trigger finger.

Unless Penny Arcade used the exact same line too. But I think it would have been a huge controversy if they had, as people would be throwing around accusations of stealing lines and whatnot, so I'm just assuming you remembered the wrong comic name.

Anyway, I agree though: I hate being called a camper for defending an objective. Especially when the person throwing the accusation was actually spawn camping earlier in the match (until I learned where he was the first time he got a cheap kill and then took him out on the next spawn, of course).

As for hacking, I can't recall ever being accused of that, but I was kicked from an RDR game once because I was playing really well. Maybe they thought I was hacking, maybe not. But nobody accused me.

Several time...

The first time it occurred to me tho was while playing Deux Ex... in that game, with every kill you got, you unlocked a bionic power. By the time you had a good 10 or so kill, you were an nigh unstoppable juggernaut. I was called up on being a hacker because I had a good 30 to 40 kill streak going on.

It also happens quite often in RTS... which I found odd, because I suck at RTS >_>... but apparently, everytime I luck out and catch someone through the fog of war, I'm hacking.

My mistake, that is the one I was thinking off.

When I used to play the first CoD in a clan, it was rather refreshing during matches, as no one moaned about camping, and accusations of hacking were very rare, and only occured when something suspicious happened, rather then someone merely being better then you.
Of course, everyone recorded the match just in case so any accusations could be proved wrongly or rightly.

I'm currently playing the game Vinductus at the moment. so I uploaded a video on youtube that I solo'd a raid boss called "The Titan" then this one dude decides to embedded it on a hackers website for people to see and now people are calling me a hacker on the Vindictus forums because of my video being on that hacking website. "Video looks legit but you probably hacked your way there" People tend to be believe anything nowadays.

On a very regular basis. I can't help it that I've been playing games for years. Too many people play on easy difficulty these days. I usually set mine for the most painful possible to see if the AI has any relative strength at all.

I'd constantly get banned from servers on Counter Strike. Specifically I remember on de_aztec as terrorist I would go out the big wood door and shoot across the map at the people coming out with the AK-47. I would use a really low sensitivity and fire off single shots and get a lot of headshots. People would then accuse me of aim botting and ban me. Getting accused of hacking is a compliment to me.

On call of duty I've been accused numerous times of using a wall hack (I'm just smart enough to should through the walls) and apparently "cheating" as many of my xbox live message read

Hell yea, I do that as well and get accused of wall hacking. I know a lot of the corner camping spots and if I know a guy is around the area I know exactly where to shoot.

Yep in Counter Strike... when I sucked and averaged 0 kills a round I would occasionally pull off something awesome like kill the entire team by myself or no scope double headshot from across the map... and than I would be called a hacker... when I actually got good though I was getting banned from servers and called a hacker left and right...<.<

Yeah, TF2, Spy using the Invis Watch and Conniver's Kunai.

I kept getting a steady stream of backstabs, and since I was using the Invis Watch that allowed me fast mobility and long cloak times. The constant amounts of surplus health I had gotten thanks to the Kunai made the other team think I was hacking.

Many times.
I recall one instance in Counterstrike where I bound the mousewheel to "attack" and abused the semi-auto function on the starting pistol (I think it only worked with the Glock though).
For each "tick" the mousewheel rolled down (which is over a dozen times in half a second) the pistol would fire.

The result was a free fully-automatic sidearm I didn't pay jack for. Good times.

People always say that when they lose. "Oh, I just got blasted away, like everyone else would in every other case EVER. He must be CHEATING!" Bah...
