Have you ever caught them all?

I'm speaking of pokemon, obviously. Have you ever caught them all in any one game? Which version was it? Or how close were you?

For example, back in the day, my two cousins and I had a Red, Blue, and Yellow (I had the yellow), and we kept trading until we each had them all (not counting Mew).

Also, on the note of catching pokemon, what is your most prized pokemon that you have caught? Mine would probably be either Raikou on Silver or Latios on Emerald, because I had already used up my master ball before I caught those two.

on pokemon blue. though the game was busted (and in german so I pretty much guessed what I was supposed to do) so it kept resetting.

you can't actualy catch all in one game whitout cheats... and that's rather sad actualy. ive had alot many many times. but ive played for years and resetting alot. and now im actualy playning pokemon games on my computer of all things.

144 is the closest I ever got, on Red. Still got the save, so I might try and get the rest at some point.
Which reminds me, I need to start playing Pokemon again

I'm playing my Emerald right now just raising up a group of 10-12 pokemon. But I have 108 in that game.

My final pokémon game was the game I took the most out: Gold
Over 400 hours of playtime, unfortunately no complete pokédex.
I was 24 pokémon short on having all 251 before I stopped.

My first and only playthrough on Gold, amazingly, I'm quite proud of it.
I had almost ten level 100s and an extra party of 80s.

I was pretty close in Pokémon Yellow, considering that I had all the acient birds and almost all the pokémon you could only get by trading with one another. Sadly though, I could never get past the final Gary, plus I missed Beedrill in my Pokédex.

Pretty embarrassing actually.

Sure that counts. Like, if someone told me that they got every pokemon you can get between sapphire, ruby, emerald, firered, and leafgreen, and traded them all onto just one game, but they didn't have like Mew or Deoxys, that would count because hell, not everyone goes to Toys R' Us merely to get a pokemon. It's cool, read my original post, same thing with me.

Five times. Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, and Crystal for national. For region, every single time for each (nine times total). The only ones missing were the nintendo sponsored event exclusives.

On Yellow I nearly had them all. Then one of the pricks in the neighbourhood started a new game, caught a Rattata, and released the starter pokemon.
He suffered in unimaginable ways.
