Quick question to all the final fantasy fan out there, am I the only one who didt care whet Aeris died?
nope, I couldn't stand the ***** and I was happy she was gone so that I didn't have to look after and grind her sorry arse up to proper standards.

Her death was win win for me since I hadn't bothered leveling her up and let her die anyway, seriously what the fuck that Cloud see in that *****, if I was Cloud i'd open my eyes and see that Tifa is a) much hotter and b) is crazy about him.

hit a nerve.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni almost made me cry many times. Same with Bokurano. Other than that, nothing. I have felt extremely sad at the ends of things though, but it was mostly due to something I enjoyed ending and not the end itself.

I haven't fullout cried at anything in a long, long time. Not that I'm bragging, or a tough guy, or anything like that. There's just not much that moves me that hard.

That being said, I did get choked up at the end of "Big Fish".

I cry at the end of sex.

Just kidding. I cry throughout.

But I spent an idle day once in university holed up in my room watching the extended LOTR films back to back with a bag of weed.

Cried like a little girl with a skinned knee. I was exhausted, and i'm not sure whether it was relief or empathy.

I get choked up watching some Scrubs episodes, I don't really cry. I'm sure I have with some movie, just can't remember them. The same with a few books.

Pushing Daisies - I was sad when this ended for several reasons. 1) It was an excellent TV show. 2) It deliberately points out that the characters continue on after the end. It tells us that their stories aren't over, they just can't show the rest of the stories.
I completely agree! I am so mad they ended that show. It was one of the best things on television.

Never actually cried at something, but I came close in several situations.
End of Greenmile
Futurama-Jurassic Bark (Fry's dog, that ending stuck with me)
End of The Orphanage
Scrubs-My Screw Up (The final episode with Brenden Frasier)

Two movies: Pan's Labyrinth, and Turtles Can Fly. Hurray for incredibly amazing yet incredibly depressing foreign films!
agree, when i showed my parents Pan's labyrinth(we are a spanish speaking family, in spanish its amazing) they thought it was a kids movie and brought my younger sister to watch it with them. After the antagonist threw the 3rd "SoB" and started bashing the farmers kid in the face with the wine bottle, they kinda had to give her a chat about tv violence, lol. In the end i teared up because it was all a freaking illusion, stupid girl.

Yup...both my brother and I stupidly wasted time leveling up Aeris...most useless plot foil in video game development ever!

I don't think so...
I know I was close after 2001 only for it being so original, brilliant, and how other films of today can't compare to such a masterpiece. That, and the final scene almost made me shit my pant's.

When I was about 12, I cried, for some obscure reason, during the bombing scene of Pearl Harbor. Call me a pussy, but hey, at the time I had visited Hawaii and had seen the Arizona so it was pretty emotional for me.

I also cried during Titanic, I have no clue why, but seeing that chick let Leo die like that just killed a part of me. Also seeing all the people die by the ship was bad too, but who cares about them, right? As long as the girl lives, it's a happy ending! /sarcasm

But the only movie to ever make me laugh my goddamn ass of and then cry at the ending was Click. You know, the movie with Adam Sandler that's fuckin hilarious until he starts getting older and older and then dies tragically when he realizes what an ass he's been to his children and his parents all this time. I cannot believe someone actually made me go from one end of the spectrum to the other in about 3 minutes. Kudos.

That's all for now.
