I was stuck on the Strider section of Half-Life 2, then I had a dream where I finished the level by hiding in a corner. I get up, and try it, and (holy crap!) it works!

eh its not so bad. I once dreamt i was playing ninja gaiden on its hardest mode. I thought it would be great, but i just ended up rage quitting......I rage quit in a dream.......wow......

A few weeks after the initial E3 gameplay clip of Halo 2 I had a dream I had been playing it. Man was I disappointed that my dream (and that gameplay video) were better than the actual game.

A couple of months after the announcement trailer of Twilight Princess I had a dream Nintendo was showing me "the new Zelda game", only it was 2-D. The graphics were in a similar art style as the original Wild Arms on the PSX, only with much larger sprites. Link was wearing chainmail under his tunic as well as a kilt with a real scabbard upon his back. It looked bad ass, and played like A Link to the Past on crack.

I was soooo excited when I woke up. Then I realized it was fake and knew that no matter how good Twilight Princess was, my dream was better.

Yes i was dreaming that i was playing bioshock (agian) and i finally got the historian acheivment, which was one of my gaming career crowning moments

I've had quite a few dreams where I thought I was playing a video game. During the first month or so that Brawl was out, I had a couple dreams where I was fighting some Versus matches in them, and doing fairly well.

I've also had a dream where I was playing a Zelda game with Ocarina of Time's engine and was getting attacked by a near endless horde of gibdos (mummified redeads). I took out a whole bunch of them with a fully-charged spin attack, but more just kept coming.

And finally, I once dreamt up the concept for what could possibly be the dumbest video game ever: Midway Games Vs. Pixar Studios.
