Have you ever felt high without taking drugs?

I just want to make it clear right now that I've never abused drugs in my life and I don't advise anyone else to. Okay? Ok so the other day I was watching an episode of the old Rugrats show for no discernible reason when there was a scene where Chucky was writing a letter to postman in crayon (and of course it was all in scribbles) with Tommy telling him what to write. Now there was something about the way they both seemed to understand what was written on the paper in comparison to what they said aloud that just blew my mind. It's hard to describe, but it felt like Smurfs were tickling my brain with feathers. So yeah, that was weird...

I don't know what feeling high is like because I've never taken drugs. I have no idea what would trigger your experience though.

Yeah... I think you might be on acid.

OT: I'm sure I have, but I can't recall off the top of my head. Then again, I don't do drugs, so I don't know firsthand what being high might feel like.

Though technically I wasn't abusing drugs, I was once cleaning out an airbrush in the garage, spraying paint thinner through it when a gust of wind came through and blew it all in my face. Got a lungful of solvents, had the best half a second of my life, then passed out. Came to a little while later, rubbed my eyes and carried on with my day.

Never took drugs, so, no idea what feeling high feels like.

I assume you mean strange, and happy, kinda?

I'd have to say, when I got my dog, probably.

Hm, the closest I've ever been to high was just coming out of anaesthesia, so if I had to compare it to that then yes. It required 2 days without sleep and a marathon of Adventure Time and there it was.

I've felt what I imagine it feels to be high when I've stayed up all night, but as I've never smoked pot or done anything else to get high and never plan on it, I guess I'll never know if I'm right or not.

Every time I come offstage, or the camera stops rolling. Natural high my friends. Acting is my drug.
You'll never find anything like it.

There are other, more mundane things too, of course - a couple of days of sleep deprivation tends to do fun things to your sensory experience too.

I've passed out a couple of times (Note: not drugs, I'm just very tall and very skinny), but that's about it.

Well, the ONE time I chemically induced hallucinations, my Warhammer 40k Fanboyism got the better of me and I saw the Warp open up before a greater Daemon of Slaanesh stepped out. So my frame of reference is pretty wonky.

But I guess my best example of this would be all the "night highs" I've gotten...

I'm out late at an outdoor potluck, my belly full of vegetarian chili, and I'm with all my best friends on top of a moonlit mountain in the middle of nowhere next to a beat up tire swing. Someone is softly playing a banjo somewhere and the air is warm with a cool breeze. The cute girl with curly brown hair I just met has agreed to have a roll with me in the barnloft later, and my best friends and I are dragging logs into the clearing to build a bonfire. And then, without warning, my head becomes light as a feather, my feet feeling almost as if they could leave the ground. Everything's hazy, and it feels like a dream. No drugs, not even booze, just the night, a pretty girl, all my closest friends, and the North Carolina air...

True story. This exact scenario has happened to me on multiple occasions (well, the girl was a redhead one time)... Beats the hell out of ANY narcotic.

Yup... it's called being truly happy... Like finishing a Marathon of the Original Avengers! series and then getting a bucketload of Chips/Popcorn and starting all over! :)

Occasionally get in giddy and uncontrollable giggle moods for no reason. Or have days where literally nothing gets me down.
That's generally how I feel after having a joint or being drunk off my face.
Also get that head rush you get after the first inhale of weed (well I get one anyway) when smoking just a normal cigarette.

Completing a very complicated recipe, or making Creme Brule
Mother fucking torch it :3 I get high off of fire.

Either then that, finding the perfect position when laying in bed gives me this bliss that is only beat by fire and orgasms.
