I used to have one of those old old monitors, which I would sometimes use at target practice, for my fists, because the glass is so thick and somehow bouncy. Also punched my keyboard a few times. That was when I was about 10-12 or so.

I punched my PS2 when San Andreas crashed going into an interior location after collecting 50 Horseshoes.

PS2 lived, but San Andreas had a perfect circle scratched into it.

Every handheld I own has a broken L button....Not from rage but I have no idea why.
On topic, I pushed so hard down on my stylus on the DS that it left a permanent black dot on it.

No. Part of the reason I play games is to relieve stress. If a game starts to cause me stress then it is counter-productive to keep playing it, so I usually just turn it off and play something else.

There are twin dents in my wall; if you take a Gamecube controller the handle bars fit the dents perfectly...

I shook my DS so much that it snapped in half. I also threw my copy of Magical Mirror: Starring Mickey Mouse (don't ask) on my roof.

I've broken controllers before. Although my fist was more hurt than my 360 controller when I punched that. Nice to see build quality is still a priority for SOME MicroSoft things.

It wasn't really expensive, but after playing Battlefield 2 a couple of years ago, I actually broke my anti-stress ball :x It took me half an hour to get all the little grit-thingies that were inside it out of my keyboard.

There was one time, way back in my angsty teen years, where I had failed to attain the gold in one of the many forgetful challenge race modes in Diddy Kong Racing for what seemed like the 40th time. I was so angry that the controller went flying from my hands into the console itself, impacting into the cartridge and causing the game to freeze. In horror, I ran over to it and discovered that I had snapped the board inside the cart.

Thankfully, living with my father all my life has given me an exceptional aptitude to bullshit, and was able to convince him that it was working fine and "suddenly" stopped working.

I did break an Xbox 360 controller playing (and loosing) at Virtua Fighter 5 online, just the LB key actually.

I also broke a screen "radiation reduction" filter while playing mechwarrior 2 a long time ago.

But honestly I have thrown a few controllers without breaking those too. It's not even out of real rage I think, but rather that it's just kind of a symbol, that's why I usually don't throw any hard enough to break it.

I've broken one Gamecube controller.

It was while playing the Rayman game on the gamecube.(hoodlum havoc IIRC)

The boss was fought on an arena surrounded by lava, the powerup required to beat the boss was on the side of the arena.
You have to climb down the side, get a powerup and back up while avoiding fireballs which make you fall in the lava. Of course, it's only fair if those fireballs follow you so when you fall in the lava and get back up the side, you're immediately knocked back down.

After 15 minutes trying to get out of the lava(restarting a lot, fought the boss for maybe 3 minutes), I got so angry I smashed my controller against the wall and gave up. A while later I noticed that the control stick didn't go back to it's default location and when I tried to move it, it broke off.
