I went through several controllers and a bookshelf in the period of 3 months...but I'm known to have some pretty nasty anger issues...

No, if I start sucking, I stop caring.

If you ever find me cursing and whatnot, it's usually because other people in my party are cursing and complaining so I just join in. It feels less weird than to be the only calm person in a room full of angry people.

Well, I got so angry that I threw my controller out the window into freezing snow, screamed so incredibly hard until I felt the capillaries on my face break, and I ended up vomiting everywhere in my room because I got so ticked.

So have you ever gotten so angry at a game, that you have had a similar experience to the one above?
Nope, I never got that angry at anything, game or otherwise: If I suck that much (it happens)(more often than I wish :D), I just switch to another game, or do something else.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Control yourself.

Plus, what is wrong with dropshots? just use tactical, and do it too! There are a lot of things broked with MW2 but dropshotting is not one of them.

OT: No, I have never done any such thing. One of my friends has kicked a hole in the wall though. I'm disgusted with him too.

I've had the neighbors call in the law enforcement for noise complaints from my game rage fits. I stopped playing MW2 shortly before I outright sold my Box. I've pretty much sworn off online multiplayer. I might get a PS3 sometime later, though. I hear the online crowd has fewer twitch kiddies and hackers.

I have anger issues. In real life I am usually a calm, collected, person, but online seems to bring out the worst in me, especially when it comes to religion

I've gotten mad before but I usually just start to question the game and my tv repeatedly until I quit playing. And you might want to consider taking a break from video games so you don't have an anger stroke or someting.
I'm a chronic ragequitter. If I'm getting frustrated I just leave before I really lose my marbles.

I don't throw things, generally... I might have stepped on my controllers a few times. Then I only hurt the thing that I am hating at that moment.

Those things are really quite sturdy; they can take some serious abuse!

Usually I just have to turn off the T.V. and step away if I get really angry. And usually that's because I have been screaming obscenities just a little too much.

Broken a few controllers, broken a window with a chair, smashed my cell phone, said some rather awful things to various people. You are not alone, OP.
I feel compelled to add that the window, cell phone and many things I've said were not game related.
Probably should have read all of OP's post.
I've only ever broken one controller, while playing Driver the PSone. The Presidents Run is too freaking hard!

Man, get a PC. I've played about 30 games in the SC2 beta so far, and everyone is polite and well mannered. Most people start games with "GL HF :)" (good luck have fun :) ) and almost everyone ends with a GG. Sometimes you get comments that you played really well, did a good tactic, or inquiries into your strategy.

It's all in good fun and I haven't, in 30 games, run into an asshole. Anyways, my online experiences with the PC are so much better than on any of the consoles (and yes, I own them all) that I basically just gave up console online, I don't need to be subject to consistent name calling and flame baiting from children.

Jesus, dude, calm the fuck down. It's just a game--no need to make yourself burst blood vessels and vomit. I mean, I've been pissed before, even to the point of throwing a controller, but not to the extent of making myself sick.

On a related side note, the PS3 Dualshock Controller is very strong. It has survived being smashed against the floor, rebounding off a wall, and smacking onto a hardwood table, without any kind of damage. After the instantaneous calm down that that caused, further scientific testing was done. Results are thus: the 360 Controller cannot claim the same, but the Gamecube can. Results for the Wiimote revealed only a slight delay in the tracking of the remote, but no physical damage, save for some scuffing across the board. Results were tested by four persons, each with each remote (Thanks to gamecrazy for supplying cheap, discount remotes and controllers). Experiment number two will involve a three story balcony for further endurance testing.

I do get frustrated at certain games but never to the point where I have hurt myself or others in anger. The worst Ive done is breaking part of the wood on my door with my fist in anger for some reason I can't remember.

You want me to... do them?

Also, sorry, I may have misunderstood. Hatred/major dislike for our generation's unfortunate stereotype (which sadly seems to have some truth to it) is entirely acceptable, even within our generation. I just read too much into the British part of your statement... Have some tea, it makes everything better!

If I get pissed while I'm playing a game, I quit. Why? Because if your pissed, chances are you aren't having fun, the point of a game.

Just... No.

I mean, I've been pissed before, but... No

I once punched a guy in the face so he collapsed on a table, but you know.. I didn't vomit all over him...

Actually, that would've been really funny.
Aw, you totally should have too.

No, I get mad at video games, but when I do, I go to my room, take this stress ball (or anything really that doesn't break easily / I don't care about.) and just go nuts on it. Then 5 minute breather, I'm good to go again.

I was playing pokemon ruby and I lost a beauty competition for the 3rd time in a row and I bent the screen of my gameboy, and then it didn't work anymore.

I shit you not.
This is my favorite story, because it's a beauty contest for pokemon.
How did you bend the screen?

Oh my goodness... I honestly think you might have a problem.

The only game I've gotten extremely upset with was Left 4 Dead 2. And that's just a ragequit...
