4 instances.

1. Got mad playing FarCry 2 Multiplayer. Shitty team mates caused me a horrible losing streak. Punched my $430 t.v. and broke it. No warranty.

2. Broken controllers and game discs over multiplayer matches.

3. Slow computer my family used to have. Stabbed it with a pair of scissors. Made a huge crack in the screen. Still works fortunetly.

4. Better computer. Freezing issues. Repeatedly kicked the tower out of frustration. Broken pieces in and out of tower. Had to buy a new computer for $900.

I'm not a angry person, but when it comes to electronics not working right, that's when I lose it.

I banged my keyboard a couple of times nothing serious. Now losing a save game or when the game crashing after 2 long hours without saving makes me soooo upset! But most of the times i just end up crying in a corner lol

Yeah I did get that angry... Its when you play games like that for too long... It gets to ya. When it does switch to single player or go in a private match with friends and not fucktards.

I did once break some headphones, and can't remember what it was for.

Now, though, I try not to stay on any frustrating game too long. I figure "if I'm not having fun, then it's not a game." Thus I always keep standbys like TF2 or GTA:SA.

I got mad at a few things in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 that prompted me to bite down really hard on my PS2 controller (it's got bite-marks in it now, but nothing more serious.)

Apart from that, not that I remember.

When I was young and couldn't beat a Gym Leader in pokémon gold, I'd turn the gameboy off and on repeatedly thinking it'd cause it pain or something.

I must have some really sever anger issues.

Let me explain it all for you.

Typical Sunday for me:

Wake up at 9 in the morning, splash my eyes with cold water and get right on the Xbox to play some Mw2. Well about 3 hours into the bliss, I started to suck.

BAD.

My teammates were sucking, the enemies were being campers and dropshots (Don't even get me started on them) and it was on my best map, Skidrow.

Well, I got so angry that I threw my controller out the window into freezing snow, screamed so incredibly hard until I felt the capillaries on my face break, and I ended up vomiting everywhere in my room because I got so ticked.

So have you ever gotten so angry at a game, that you have had a similar experience to the one above?
dude you have serious problems if you are that emotionaly invested in a vodeogame you should mabe get a new time killer if your emotional stability is jeopradized by this game

No, dude. I've screamed at the television before, and even considered throwing a controller a couple of times, but I've never been that angry about a video game. Hell I've never been that angry about anything. Once when I screamed at the tv my windows were open, and I startled the hell out of my neighbor. I felt slightly embarrassed until I realized it would have been perfectly socially acceptable if I had been yelling about a bad call while watching almost any sport.

I generally manage to refrain from property damage but yes, I've had this issue.
I think the reason behind it is the feeling of uselessness I get when I fail at things.
Basically in everyday life I occasionally have goals or dreams and I inevitably fail to achieve them. I then go play games to relax and forget my problems but I inevitably fail at those too. The result is feeling like a complete failure at everything and its incredibly frustrating.

Not even close, literally the worst I've done is rage quit. I don't really have much anger, playing 3 full contact sports lets me vent almost all of it.

Nah I haven't gotten that angry before, but I once slammed my keyboard so hard it broke the hinges under it because I lost the clan war finals in CS.

I've gotten so angry I've thrown the controller down.

But usually it's just, I've gotten so angry I say, "Fuck THAT!" and shut off the game.

It's not worth it to me to get constantly fucked over by some prick game designer who decided it'd be fun to ramp up the difficulty or completely fuck up the engine to make a game unnecessarily hard.
