I just (And when I say just, I mean less than a minute ago), woke up from an incredible dream. Mass Effect 3 had come out, and it was absolutely amazing. I think this is the best trigger possible to make a thread I've been wanting to do for a while now; have you ever had a dream linked to a game? If so, can you narrate it?
The game, in my head, started in Tuchanka, and instead of playing as Shepard, it begun telling the story from a Krogan's perspective, somehow, I knew it was Grunt. I was walking along what seemed to be a campus dormitory row, while some other Krogan talked about how these were the female camps. It was all in first person view. As the group of about 5 krogan closed in on a particular room, a green Krogan came out and mourned that his "female had just been killed", and suddenly the whole place bursted into caos. We ran through the cyberpunk oriented hallway and up a set of stairs, ascending into some streets that looked more like a neon fueled New York, than the inhospitable Tuchanka, and pursued three huge robots through a train, while (And I can by no means explain this), some other guy kept repeating "Don't walk out", I assumed he was asking that I don't jump out of the moving hover-train; why no, subcouncious, I do not intend to jump out of a moving vehicle, thank you. Now here's the weirdest part, although inside the dream, I knew I was just playing Mass Effect 3 on my Xbox, from the comfort of my couch (Which is strange, because I play on the PC), I would look around and see not my living room and whatnot, but I was actually in the game, which is why I talk about the actions of my character in first person.
Utimately, it all lead to a massive boss fight where I got killed and suddenly took control of what I think was Samara. Maybe the whole dream-game would begin by having some or all the characters from the other two Mass Effects die, which would be rather interesting.
So, does anyone else remember any dreams that they might've had, relating or just completely regarding a game?
