I sat down with COD: WaW after having just bought it, excited to see how they worked out the WWII setting, but worried because Treyarch had made it. Two hours later, I had finished sad and depressed, like a man who wants to have hours of sex with his wife only to ejaculate 45 seconds in. Turns out my apprehensions about Treyarch were right.
I call shenanigans on the two hours, unless you played on retardedly easy mode. Even then, its pretty much impossible. I think you just wanted to use that little line about the husband and wife.

Nah, I played on regular mode, but I've been playing Call of Duty since the series started, so I'm pretty good, if I do say so myself. Also, it was 3 AM when I started. That helped.

TMNT, WANTED: Weapons of Fate, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Rainbow Six:Vegas 1 & 2
I finished other bigger titles like Fallout and Mass Effect in 2 sittings. Usually because I got them later in the day, after work.

I still call shenanigans.

Pages upon pages of lists! After reading all this I kind of think to myself "So what does this say about these games?" Are games that suck you in and you finish in one sitting excellent games? Or did they fall short in some way?

---One sitting---
There's plenty of people who've done speed runs of Fallout 1 in just a few minutes but one time I got really engrossed and took it down in six hours.

Also unwittingly finished Deus Ex: Invisible War in only nine hours which surprised me because the first Deus Ex was pretty long.

I beta Halo 3 with a friend about 5 times on legendery with the skull that makes you restart when you die and the one that makes it harder, I think its called mystic. And the feild promotions one, and of course "Grunt Birthday Party"
I also beat Sam and Max episode 2 or 3 in one sitting oh and the northpole one.
And a two Sly the Racoon games.
Call of Duty 4.
Me and the same friend did all Left 4 Dead campaigns in a row. Mercy: i survived only (Bill Rules!!! I always play as bill(My friend(Francis) went back to save me but got swarmed aftrer i got in the copter)) The turnpike one: only he survived) Dead Air: we all survived Blood Harvest: We all survived.
So ya. After i beat the Sly ones i didn't play a game for the rest of the day. I love their stories.

Oh and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

Fallout,Fallout 2,Discworld, most Infocom titles (except HGTTG), Space Quest series, Curse of Monkey Island, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango...and so on, and so forth.

Of course, most of those games are quite short.

I've finished every Halo game in one sitting at some point, individually though. Though all times being with a friend in co-op.

I did this with ocarina of time multiple times. I loved my Zelda days.
Though it did take me alot longer the first time, I eventually knew this game backwards.
wasent that like 14 hours of gameplay?
I wasn't exagerating when I said Zelda 'days' I only had breaks for the bathroom and food, they were good days *nods*
