Um...one of my maths teachers at high school ended up on Today Tonight for leaving his wife for a student 1/3 his age.

He's sorta a celebrity, right?

You're all small-time; I bagged groceries for Gallagher when he came to Michigan in '03.

I had a helium balloon tied to my hair at the time.

The majority of the cast of the second and third Matrix movies used to visit the town I lived in between filming scenes. I worked in the video store across the road from the local pub, and one night going home spotted them having a drink on the porch outside. Walked up and said Hi, tried not to do the usual fanboy thing, problem was I had just finished splicing a VHS of the Matrix after someone's machine chewed up the "They're in the walls" scene, so that story was kinda blurted out. Had to move on after a few minutes anyway as I was only 17 and not technically allowed to be on the premesis.

How does one act nonchalant when they're speaking to incredibly famous people without seeming like an arrogant bastard?

Well lots of people who's shows I went to see.
Munky and Johnathan from Korn, all of Winds of Plague, all of Lamb of God,
but i think the most fun story, I didn't actually meet him, but it was Justin Beiber.
I was going to a Winds of Plague concert, and it just so happened that there was a Justin Beiber concert in town that day. Late at night on the way home, a cop motorcycle pulled onto the street me and my dad were riding on, followed by a tour bus, and more cops. My dad decided it would be fun to ride right up on the tail of the bus until we parted ways.

EDIT: also, forgot about this one, in middle school we had a substitute teacher. It turns out, she was the little girl from the original Night of the Living Dead. Pretty cool.

I've met loads of rock musicians and stuff, I was a gig promoter for a while and stuff. Then in 2008 I followed Coheed and Cambria on the Kerrang tour, hung out with them a bunch along with Charlie Simpson (yes from busted) and his band Fightstar.

My crowning moment however was when I served mother****ing Martin Kemp from mother****ing Spandau Ballet! There I was on the till one day and he just walked up, I nearly freaked out! In hindsight I probably should have started singing Gold under my breath to see if he'd join in, but, you live and learn hey?

I have a Bacon number of four. My friend's sister went to a conference at UFC where she met Gary Sinise, who worked with Kevin Bacon in Apollo 13.
I've also met John Neufeld, Tony Campolo and Jeremy King.

I've met a few celebrities, but I think the most notable would be Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz. I won a contest to attend the premiere of The Last Samurai, with a bunch of goodies thrown in and a meet-&-greet with the actors.

It was pretty fun. Mind you, this was in his pre-crazy days.

I've seen both Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI at events, though I didn't get too close to them. I've met Colin Powell and the Bush daughters at campaign events, and apparently once John McCain walked right by me, but I was distracted and he was gone by the time I looked up.

Oh gawd... more than I can name.

I'm an avid con-goer, so I end up meeting a lot of them :p

Some of the big names include;-
Patrick Stewart
Scott Bakula
Dante Basco
Christopher Lloyd
Robert Englund
Udo Kier
Brad Dourif

And many others...

Still not happy that my mum got to sit right next to Dwayne Johnson on a flight from Vegas though... (she got me his autograph though :D)

I once performed with one of Finland's and one of Sweden's most famous stand-up comedians. In the same show, that is, and then hung out with them in the green room. Really, really nice and funny people, too.

Well, I guess the funny part is sort of obvious.

EDIT: Oh, wait, celebrities? I guess I fall on the whole famous-in-Finland-and-Sweden part, then.

EDIT 2: Now that I think about it, Ive met tons of famous finns. Politicians, actors, directors, comedians, writers, poets...

It's a very small world over here. Especially if you're part of the *hrm* swedish-speaking minority..

Also met James Whitham, and he thought it was hilarious I was going to Japan for a year. meh.

It's tempting but I might decline, because I'm not sure if I can do it without sounding like a total douchebag.

I bumped into Pamala Anderson at the Tiffany's in New York City. She is very very short.

Scarlett was a good foot shorter than me. And I am not a tall person.
It's really common for female celebrities that seem very curvy on the screen to just be actually really short, thus making their boobs look bigger in proportion to the rest of their bodies.
