Fallout 3. I understood how it would be a good hybrid of FPS/RPG, but it just was too slow for me and I didn't like how I had to constantly heal, and GOD FORBID I accidentally hurt a townsperson. You do that and the other people act like you just sprayed full blown AIDS to all the newborn children..
I love fallout 3 and all, great gameplay and story, but there are too many things to keep track of. Wep condition, health, armor condition, ammo, and drug addiction. I like to be 100% when i play stuff and it just gives me a bad vibe.

I respected HL2 and i beat it and all, but its very repetive.

any MGS. they are all made with attention to detail, great ammounts of class, and dedication to the audience. kojima really pours his soul into those games, yet they never become those developer pet games, probably because of its huge fanbase. yet whenever I play any of them I am quickly confused by the plot, quickly frustrated by the gameplay, and before you know it i'm back to playing something else, usually of a fraction the production value.
Thats why I've played every game at least five times, mgs 1, 8 times. Remember, gameplay is 2nd to plot in MGS.

Well, any wrestling game for me. I got tag teamed almost every time and I do not like fighting games that do not have health meters. I respect the WWE games as a genre but it doesn't quite cut it for me. I like Street Fighter and Tekken waaaaaaaaaaay more.

Mass Effect. Borrowed it from my friend, I liked the dialogue and was impressed by it all, but didn't really have much fun with it.

I respect the amount of modelling and texture work that went into crysis warhead, but it didn't seem to be that fun. Sure, you could kill someone by smashing their shack, and do it in very high-quality graphics, but it just wasn't that fun in general.

World of Warcraft, I guess.
I agree. You have to respect them for the massive fanbase, the influence on MMORPG's around the world, their graphic design, class and character features, they're always coming up with new ideas, you just have to respect the guys and gals at Blizzard for the entire game.

But, it just isn't for me, I mean, I'm an MMORPG enthusiast, love'em, but I just can't get into WoW.

I grudgingly respect Blizzards' ability to suck me in for...four years, I think? And make me forget I'm not actually having fun.

Congratulations on making a drug, dudes and ladies. I really do think it takes some talent.

Totally, 100% agree with you. When I first started playing, it was amazing, but even when I quit, because it was dull, a couple of months later, I started a new character on a different server, just to do it all again.

Star Wars:The Force Unleashed

The gameplay itself was pretty bad, but it had a (mostly) great story. I respect it for that.(the story, not the gameplay.)

Final Fantasy Tactics. i respect it for being an old game and it has it's fun moments but truly it isn't very fun. the story's all right if you like that sorta thing and the graphics aren't that bad (it started out as a PS1 game so don't push it with the graphics). i'm glad square finally tried to bring back old games that may have been good but most of the people just meant make FFVII for the PS3 because we payed a shit load for it and aren't going to pay a shit load for a game that is about 10 years old.

The only reason I didn't like FFT is because it felt like a lower quality version of Summon Night and Black/Matrix.

Oh, and I thought of another I respect but absolutely loathe to play: Final Fantasy. I'm impressed at the fanbase and the amount of work that must go into each game, but good lord is turn based combat awful. I'd rather be beaten, or play Pokemon. Seriously.
I wonder how you feel about the new style of combat in XII and Crisis? I am not sure it's possible to get away from turn-based combat with multiple party members but it's a start, no?
