Once. It was Bruno. That friend has never been allowed to pick the movie ever since.

I've walked out of Event Horizon (motion sickness triggered by the first scene), Se7en and Sixth Sense. Not necessarily because they are bad films, I generally stay to the end, even if the film is tragically poor. Occasionally some films just catch me in a real dip of depression, start to exacerbate, rather than aleviate it, and I would rather preserve a shred of sanity by leaving.

Only one. Prince of Persia. Awful, awful film. Girlfriend and I just couldn't make it all the way through such dirge. I have not been allowed to pick a film since! ^_^

Happened two times. Once when I was taken to see License to Wed and once I was taken to see Get Em to the Greek. The latter bored me and the former made me cringe (haven't gone to a rom com since). I don't simply walk out of a theater that I was invited to, so in both cases, I pretended I was headed to the restroom and waited until the film was almost over.

There was one movie I did abandon completely. It had a handheld camera and I was feeling nauseous watching. Can't remember what it was called though. It was some independent film.

Walked out of two movies.

One I don't remember the name, but it was a British heist movie.

The other was The Edge.

I was pretty young(-10) and I think that it was just because I wasn't understanding the subject matter and couldn't appreciate them. I'm saying that because I watched The Edge a few years later and loved it when before I thought it was boring as poop.

I got real close to walking out of Epic Movie, but then I realized i didn't pay for the tickets and I just laughed more at my friend XD that got me through the horribly over done and stretched out jokes.

Every movie I don't like, I just riff to hell and back. If it's not gonna give me my money's worth I'll make it myself.

I was about five minutes from walking out on District 9 when it ceased being completely boring.

I never walk out from a movie but I came very close with the film Hulk.
The film was boring and all but I told my parent I will meet back in the car park at a certain time (I was in the city when I watch the film). I didn't knew it was a very long film so I was a dilemma to leave or not. I decided to stay much to my dismay hoping that it will get better but it didn't (I did arrive at the car park late but my parent didn't mind).

I walked out of The Last Airbender because five minutes in, I found that due to movie character casting,I was having a racial identity crisis.

I also walked out of Jennifer's Body.
After the Megan Fox-Amanda Seyfried kiss, there wasn't much interest to be had.

I walked out of War of the Worlds (The Tom Cruise one)

I was thrown out of The Passion of the Christ.
Well, while I personally found War of the Worlds decent (at least enough to stay for), I'm particularly interested in what got you kicked out of Passion.
I couldn't stop laughing. But for a very good reason.

I was pretty bored watching the film (I'm an Atheist and we had been brought to see it for Religion Class which is mandatory in Ireland) and the film cuts to scene of Jesus exorcising a baby.

Now this baby didn't look like a demo possessed baby. This baby looked like a really badly made leather puppet of a really small old man and I just started breaking my shit laughing at this. All the pent up boredom just kept me laughing and I was thrown out of the cinema for it.

I walked out of the first Lord of the Rings movie and King Kong. Not because they were bad or anything, it's just that I was young and the Nazgul scared me shitless. I got to the bed scene in Bree and just said, "Bye now."

When I was 7 I went my with my family to see Alien 3 my Mom took me out of the theater and we went and watched Beethoven. The only reason why I left was because I was little kid and got scared by a movie.

I went with my friends to see The Spirit. That was a horrible decision. We left after the first 15 min.

Transformers 1...

For the second I just didn't go...

The third... well... I am sure movie bob will make clear what state this film is in.
If not then see Mark Kermodes review of it... which consists of him smashing his head into a camera for 2 mins.
