Well, the court seems to think that a softball bat counts as a weapon when it's involved in chasing off a couple of guys who broke into my house, so yeah, I guess I have swung a weapon. Not at anyone, just swung it through the air.

I've fired Colt Pythons, Ruger Police Service 6s, a Derringer .44 Mag, Browning lever action .22s, and a few Winchester Defender shotguns.

I've handled replica swords quite often, as I have friends who collect them from places like GenCon and other such gatherings. And my mom's fencing foil from college.

And I own a few bows for hunting.

I've played around with a foil, rapier and a katana.

I've also played paintball, done archery, and fired my uncles rifle (I didn't ask what type).

I've always wanted to fire a real hand-gun, but never got the chance :(

Males at the age of 18 are forced to join the military here so I've done my fair share of damage at the firing range with a G3 rifle, MG3 machine gun, RPG, rifle mounted grenade (the old style ones that you stick to the end of the barrel - they kick like hell, but the worst part is afterwards when you have to clean your rifle). Also fired a mortar once, which means I just dropped the shell into the tube and ducked away.

But I still want to shoot a hand-gun!!!

Ok let see.
Stuff that I have used to hunt/kill deer, doves, or turkey.
.308 rifle, 12 gauge shotgun, 20 gauge shotgun, compound bow, and several knives used for gutting, skinning, and cutting meat.

Stuff that I have played with but havent used to kill.
Various knives (about 30) and swords (about 6) in my collection.

I have also had the oportunity to fire several machine guns via the police and military training. I helped the local police train a coupple times and my father was in the military.

Erm...done some archery. When I was 11 (yes I know BADASS).

We own a scoped rifle and an old air pistol.

I chopped some logs into kindling this morning, so I guess an axe counts.

I've played with daggers and shortswords on targets, managed to miss spectacularly from surprisingly short ranges at archery, and otherwise proven that in Ye Olde Medieval World I'd make a much better rogue than hunter.

I've fired some air rifles and pistols, used a bow that's about it...Unless you count chopping down weeds in my Dads allotment with a fat off machete when I was a kid....such fun.

I fired a C8 carbine (or a C7 rifle, not sure anymore) on military some showcase day or something, and I shot with a bow quite often. I'm thinking of joining an archery club, but it's kinda far away. We'll see. It's fun though, archery. I would also love to shoot pistols, see how good I can aim with those.

I've taught archery so I have a bit of experience with bows. Used rifles, shotguns, pistols, flintlocks and black-powder muskets. Sparred with German swords and have practiced with actual spears, swords of different origins and sizes, knives, and a mace or two... so I've been around weapons before.

I have a bow. I haven't touched it in years, but still.

And I'm sure most people have pretended to be fighting someone with a steak knife at some point.

The only weapons that I've used that are truely lethal are my knives. Best ones is a slightly smaller navy seal knife and my balisong.

I've swung a sword around, but whenever I do, I make sure there is a clear space and no is around to get hurt. I've also fired an air rifle, but does that count? And I've done some archery.
