I've shot with an assault rifle many, many times. Emptied three clips in a row one time. That's just one of the perks of conscription.

I've shield bashed my friend, Spent half and hour trying to throw a knife at a tree and make it stick (got it 4 times!) and shot a bow.

I've fired an SA80 at cadets and a Combat Shotgun, used an air-rifle and air-pistol, I've used a bow and arrows several times, used throwing knives (which I was rubbish with) and a Samurai sword (which belonged to a friend at uni called Josh).

Use to do both Archery and Fencing. Was good fun. Fencing especially is a surprisingly hard workout, theres alot more running backward and forward then you think.

Also done paintballing a number of times... would love to do it as a regular sport, but its pretty pricey for the equipment and the pellets.

I've fired .308's and .223's at target ranges; those are the commercial versions of the 7.62 and the 5.56.

The .308 has a tremendous kick to it, I can't imagine what it must be like to fire an assault rifle in that calibre.

I also go to a shotgun range to shoot the shit out of clays every couple of weeks, that's pretty fun.

Oh, and I used to go hunting rabbits with a .22 air rifle when I was about five or six, not on my own obviously.

Yes. I was enlisted in the Marine Corps for 4 years, and I fired a weapon on a regular basis.

well im my line of work i use a m4 and a 9mm on a daily basis. and My unckle colletcs ancient armor/weapons so..ive got to try out some pritty sweet stuff. gotta give credit to the knights back in the day PlateMail is no joke crap is heavy!! but the Claymore was sweet.

I've been shooting with guns since I was 5, I've used to target practice with a longbow, and I do medieval reenactment every month.

It turns out I am a natural with a bow as i have only ever got bullseye's with bows, the first time I used one being 13.
I am also highly trained in weapon based martial arts so I have swung Wakisashi's, Katana's, Sai, Tai-Chi, bokken, and a claymore.
I am, however, a much weaker shot with a rifle as i often skew down and to the left a bit.
