I once used an iron pipe to bash a car that had previously been reduced to wreckage in a crash. Does that count?

I live in the south, so I've fired my fair share of weaponry. Though I can't say I've ever swung a sword or used a bow.

I enjoy hunting, so me and my father both have a collection of guns. And i collect knives so i think that counts as swinging a weapon.

Eh, I guess.
I have a sword and a working crossbow downstairs. I've tested out both of them.
The crossbow is surprisingly dangerous, considering its size. It couldn't kill a person, but it would definitely do more than break skin.

Yeah, I have...

Fired a bow at a target.
Swung various knives and swords at dummies
Used a tree branch to defend myself from a dog that was trying to bite me.

I've done a spot of fencing, if we can count that. I gave it up quickly though, as both my head is a strange size and not being able to wear my glasses made being good at it a bit difficult.

I've fired .308's and .223's at target ranges; those are the commercial versions of the 7.62 and the 5.56.

The .308 has a tremendous kick to it, I can't imagine what it must be like to fire an assault rifle in that calibre.

I also go to a shotgun range to shoot the shit out of clays every couple of weeks, that's pretty fun.

Oh, and I used to go hunting rabbits with a .22 air rifle when I was about five or six, not on my own obviously.
They don't put a full .308 in machine guns. The 7.62 bullets they use in guns like AK's are shortened. It's called an "intermediate round" because it's somewhere between the 7.62 pistol round and the 7.62 rifle round.

OT: I've fired a .62 caliber black powder rifle, numerous .22 rifles, BB guns, practice bows, a 20-guage shotgun, a .410 shotgun, and a .380 pistol with super-powered home defense rounds. Which is why my hearing sucks.

Uh...I hit a guy over the head with a Maglite once. Does this count?
I've always wondered what that would feel like. Those things are heavy bastards.

I've fired an L-98 military issue semi-automatic rifle, and another rifle (older make, can't remember exactly what it was) with live ammo, at my old school. This is in the UK, by the way, and the teachers allowed me to do so. I've also fired a pistol (not sure what type but it was at an indoor range) and an air rifle, and this is all live ammo. I've fired blanks in an old pistol that my parents have, though never live ammo, at country-and-western nights. My parents were into that scene for a while and I used to go with them, and they had shoot-offs as part of the evening usually, firing blanks at a balloon or ping-pong ball to see who was fastest, as a competition.

Oh, and my family also has a machete and a boomerang hanging on the wall in our conservatory that we had when clearing out my uncle's house after he died. He travelled a lot so we had to clear his house of all the clutter and stuff he'd collected before we could sell the house.

I've fired and used WAYYYYYY too many weapons for the average British teenager, haven't I?

Ooh, I've fired a good deal of guns. Here's a list:
A Sig-pro in .40
A .357 revolver, not sure who makes it
A USP .40
A USP Compact .40
A Beretta Px4 Storm, again in .40
A S&W Sigma in .40
A compensated GLOCK 23 (which is in .40)
A Makarov PM (which is 9mm, but not the American variety)
A Sig-Sauer P228 in .40

Maybe a couple more I'm not quite remembering...
