Have you not bought a game after watching Yahtzee's review of it?

No.

I Watch Yahtzee's reviews for entertainment, if i litenened to them, i would have missed out games like The Witcher 2, which ended up being one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Not really, his reviews are out too late for the most part. But I guess it's possible. While everything he says is for enjoyment and should never be taken seriously, if he points out a mechanic I don't like I may make me sour on a game.

Often he drops my new purchases into 'wait till there 20 buck used' category but that's only if he really rips them a new one.

Not really. I don't own any consoles so, by default, this limits me to Yahtzee's PC titles reviews (I still watched each and every one tho). And since I'm on Gamespot everyday (yes, I am ashamed by that) I know well in advance what I want to play and what not. Yahtzee usually reviews games that I have already played. In fact, the only game that I did look up after his review was Bastion, mainly because the PC version came later than the console version. And there are times when I just don't agree with his reviews, even for games I haven't played (very rarely).

I've never let yahtzee's opinion discourage me from buying a game. Many of my favorite games he has ripped on (the world ends with you, borderlands, and a few others). If I had let his opinion sway my purchase, I never would have played those games. He is mostly there, for me, as a form of entertainment. He is usually right when he points out flaw, but I don't know many games that don't have flaws.

Not that I can think of- though he has swayed me off of games I was on the fence about.

I don't have much of a gaming budget- so most likely if Yahtzee can push me off of a game, I probably wasn't going to buy it anyway.

I have, however, bought four games on his recommendation:
CoD 4
The Orange Box
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Just Cause 2

Of those, the only one I regretted was JC2.

Hmmm....no, but I did buy Just Cause 2 after watching the review.
Same. Yahtzee didn't make me buy the game (Just Cause 2), but it did encourage me to get it a bit sooner than what I would have if left on my own.

Quite the opposite, actually. His review of Amnesia brought it to my attention and was basically all the praise I needed to spend the slight amount of money on it on Steam.

And I will love/hate him forever, because while it is a fantastic game it scares the shit out of me.

Nope, he has bashed games in the past that I thought were amazing (Bulletstorm, Castlevania Lords of shadow, Mirror's edge, and Valkyria Chronicles to name a few).

But then again, I'm probably more clued up about games than most of yahtzee's viewers, so I can easily make my own mind up about a certain game. As I tend to research the games before yahtzee's reviews come out to determine if it's the right game for me. If it is then I don't really take yahtzee's opinion into account.

Nope, because his job is to nitpick and find the best comedy material out of the game (much like funny movie reviewers like Nostalgia Critic).

If you didn't pick up the game JUST because of him, that's saying more about you.

I think most people take his reviews as more of an entertainment thing than an actual review. If people actually listened to him noone would buy any games and we'd all have to go outside, assuming of course there still is an outside.

I do not base my purchases off Zero Punctuation just as I don't base them off Unskippable. In fact, I'm fairly sure that if I were to base them off one of those shows, Unskippable would be a better choice. Don't get me wrong, I love ZP, but it's entertainment, not consumer info...

His videos are more "final nail in the coffin" than anything else, It doesn't help that I pre-order games often as well.

Actually I sometimes think about buying games he reviews... unless the review is like mindjack's...
