Have you not bought a game after watching Yahtzee's review of it?

Only for Too Human, because the general consensus everywhere was that it was terrible.

He criticizes the games he likes, why would you take him seriously o_O
If you have nothing but praise for the games you like, how will they improve? No game is perfect. I can point out flaws in my favourite games - it doesn't mean I like them less. It just means that in the future, maybe the developers can improve them.

I can't think of an instance when I was planning on buying a game and then a ZP review talked me out of it. But I think that his reviews do influence my perception on potential games I will play, because I agree with him on many things. However, there are things I disagree with him on - I love the old Resident Evil games, Red Faction, and Metal Gear Solid.
I take his opinions into consideration, but he is not the only factor in my decision on whether or not to play a game.

Unless its a terrible review his reviews don't really affect whether I buy a game or not but he does tend to have an opinion close to mind and saved me from buying mindjack.

I do not base my purchases off Zero Punctuation just as I don't base them off Unskippable. In fact, I'm fairly sure that if I were to base them off one of those shows, Unskippable would be a better choice. Don't get me wrong, I love ZP, but it's entertainment, not consumer info...
How is Unskippable a better choice??? It's essentially video game Mystery Science Theater, whereas ZP actually discusses a games merits and downfalls... I think you got it mixed up. XP

Some games where he's serious about his critic I decide not to buy it. He's mentioned that he always point out the flaws to underline what can be improved. He reviews Super Mario Galaxy like he hated it, but he's mentioned it as one of those games he actually enjoys. Like his review o Duke Nukem Forever kept me from buying that at 50% in the summer sale. But most of his reviews haven't prevented me form buying any games.

No. I see myself as a better judge of what I'd like to play than someone who has never met me and doesn't cater his reviews towards me. But I do enjoy ZP nonetheless. :)

Yes, Amnesia the Dark Descent.

I don't regret the purchase.

[edit] Misread the title question.

Only once. When I was on the fence over whether or not to get Metroid: Other M, his review was the final nail in the coffin for that particular purchase. Doesn't seem like I missed much.

Not a chance, I watch zeropunc strictly for the lulz. Being the demographic of a full time college student with no job, ultimately if I want a game, and can afford it, I will buy it. I don't exactly have the luxury to buy every half-assed game so if I did, I then could take yahtzee's reviews in mind before wasting money.

I've been put off from buying Catherine, or at least partially, but only because he said it was really hard (yeah, I know but I suck at puzzles and timed, really hard puzzles would just make me want to break something), however I'll still probably get it anyways when it's really cheap or something.

However, I bought Dragon Age 2 after watching his review (note: after as in time after not on-the-advice-of after) and thought it was good so yeah, I probably wouldn't be put off from buying a game simply on what he said unless it was something like really hard difficulty or really bad gameplay he was talking about, not minor issues with the game.

Yes, a few times. Although most of the time, the decision is confirmed by my friends who buy the game.

I have bought games based on his recommendation, and i have NEVER regretted it

I nearly gave Blue Poo Atonement Green Spleen Submarine Purple Monkey Dishwasher Red Dead Redemption a pass based on Yahtzee's review. I'm glad I didn't for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that I only ran into maybe one or two of the dozen-odd glitches he listed in his review. I've since learned how to parse his opinions and those of other reviewers into a fairly accurate barometer of whether or not I will get my money's worth of enjoyment out of a game.
