HD Re-release: What game do you want re-released the most?

Said HD re-release would not only include the game in high-definition, it would also receive major changes to features that made the original less enjoyable than it could've been. For instance:

The Matrix: Path of Neo

Reasoning: 1) there are very few really awesome hand-to-hand combat/kung fu games these days, excepting maybe Batman and Assassin's Creed. However, Path of Neo was just completely over-the-top awesome with so many different combos and ridiculous moves, the action would've been amazing if not for the frame rate drops and the less-than-perfect targeting system.

2) The Matrix just needs a great game, because it's definitely the kind of movie that could make a great game.

So, what game do you want re-released/updated the most?

Hd re-release would be Final Fantasy X. SE say they are working on it so it should be out December 2052.
HD Remake would be Final Fantasy IX. New visuals, give the cast voices but DO NOT change the story or gameplay. There is no amount of money I would not pay for that.

Obligatory Deus Ex... I think they did a graphics overhaul for it and the PS2 version looks decidedly shinier, as well as an update for the PC version, but I don't think it counts as an 'HD' version per se. Also, if they could re-do the soundtrack as well, that'd be nice. -_-

For me, Fighting Steel, which is a WWII naval capital ship fighting sim. I played that quite a bit years ago, seeing 16in salvos hammering KM Bismarck and all that lovely stuff, but good lord, it hasn't aged well. It could do with a scenic soundtrack, background textures, detailed mechanical design, and naturally, shell perspective in third person view. Explosions and all.

Timesplitters. Fantabulous series that needs a re-release (and a new entry, but that's a completely different can of worms). Plus, glossing it up with HD couldn't hurt.

I would love to see Capcom vs SNK 2 rereleased in HD or preferable redone so that the sprites were all re drawn to come up to the level of KOFXIII thats the one thing that always bugged me about a lot of their vs games they just recycled the same sprites I can see why from a monetary point of view but it got a bit ridiculous especially with that Morrigan sprite jeez they got some use out of that, update it it looks awful.

Also really looking forward to the darkstalkers re release package coming out and am hoping for a new entry into the series.

Spoiler: Drakan: The Ancients Gates

It's an open-world action RPG, and your mount is a dragon. It's one of my favourite games on the PS2. I'd like to see an HD re-release that includes both games in the series, since the first one was never released for consoles.

I'd also like to see the Star Wars: Battlefront games released with HD graphics, but their combat would probably get the Gears of War treatment. That is something I could live without.

The Legacy of Kain series.

Such a huge story, having all five games in one collection could justify a decent release price for an HD re-release, plus I just want them to look good on my HDTV.

The worl of Nosgoth is so interesting and they created such a history for it, it'd be a shame for people who have never played the games to miss out.

HD console (see: no handhelds) releases of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Because I never owned an N64, and the only games I would play on my friends' at the time were SSB and Mario Kart.

That being said, I don't own a Wii U and probably never will so unless they'd get Wii ports, I'd be out of luck anyway.

OT: Obligatory Fire Emblem (GBA 2003) suggestion. Hell, Geneology of the Holy War and Thracia 776 HD and released outside of Japan would be really nice.

Also, a Pokemon RSE remake would be nice because Hoenn is pretty cool.
Maybe, F-Zero GX in widescreen with online Mulitplayer.

Steambot Chronicles, Dragon Quest 8, Katamari Damacy, Dark Cloud, and Metal Gear Solid (the original).

If I had to pick one, it would have to be Dragon Quest 8. Mostly because it would actually sell well compared to my second choice, Steambot Chronicles.

Aside from these, the only other game I could think of for an HD release (seeing as how it wasn't released, to my knowledge) would be the Final Fantasy Legend entries from wa-a-a-a-a-ay back in the GameBoy days of old. It's been so long since I've played all three of them, with 2 being my most favorite and having the best final boss theme.
