Well i want a good strong dog to go jogging with me in the mornings,i work and own my own ristorante but my wife from home,it will live us in the flat,it should have a decent amount if room in the degli ospiti, like i said before my wife works from home and i dont work on weekends so yes and probably not were sort of set in Palermo.
Do you go jogging every morning?
If so, like someone said beforehand, a Husky might not be a bad choice.
They're
lovely family dogs, but they're also (relatively) big, and generally are good guard dogs.
If you live in a warm or hot climate, make sure to get a short-coated Husky (obviously

)...
Though I'm not sure how it would go in a flat, to be honest...
If you don't go jogging every morning? Golden Retriever, probably.
Again,
lovely family dog... but not as good a guard dog. Would probably greet intruders with a smile, as opposed to a Husky, who would (at
least) bark at them.

But is more suited to a flat, at least compared to a Husky.
Honestly though, if you're looking for a big dog, you might be hard pressed to find one that's suited to flats, without a backyard. A Husky or a Golden Retriever is probably exactly what you're looking for (or pretty close), if you have a backyard for it to stay in.
So, good luck looking for a dog either way

...
Hope that helps.
