Terriers are yappy little shits and can be quite agressive actually, you dont want a doberman or bulldog if you have a newborn kid even well trained they are always agressive by nature just a stones throw off from going at you.

They most definently aint small but boxer dogs are very friendly if trained, very protective and active only issue is as I said they can get real bloody big and they are ugly as sin.
boxers are good dogs and rather friendly. same goes for dobermans and bulldogs, it depends on how you train and raise the dog. if you do get a doberman or boxer, don't get the ears cropped, it's just mean

perfect example is the pitbull, there are a lot that are very friendly and nice pitbulls, however there's a lot of "tough" guys that buy the dogs and train them to be really mean and aggressive dogs and they ruin it for the rest of the people. if you know who the little rascals are, the dog in that is a pitbull

Maybe but yet to meet a person with a doberman who has not been a wannabe tough guy, then again I lived in east Glasgow everyone was a wannabe tough guy all the agressive dogs I saw were on the edge of madness near enough one slip of the leash and bite to a passerby from being forcefully put down.

i've met a few. my friend worked with a few as guard dogs, we had it attack my friend and then "turned off" the dog and he was totally friendly with the same guy. with family they are usually pretty good and very protective, as a ripping whomever is messing with their family to pieces kinda way.

a lot of people think the same thing of rottweilers as well, there are freaking awesome dogs and really good with kids that are it's family
