Here's how big popular bands do it.

First, you must go to the mall. That's where the ideas come flowing. Walk around the lingerie statues until you start feeling a connection, at which point go to the sales associate and ask for the heart of any animal you wish. Here you decide the outcome of your band name.

1. If they say no, punch them in the face and run. Take some lingerie off of the mannequins and run. When the cops arrive at the scene, use the hammer you brought with you and spin it faster and faster until you have created a time rift, at which point let go of the hammer. Oh, i hope you brought kryptonite, because that's the only way you can avoid being sucked into the rift. As everything gets caught into said rift, make a lot of pig squeals and gargling noises as the screams of other people get caught on your microphone. The first scream that includes a word such as "God", "Die/death", "Hell", combine with whatever word you were saying while you were gargling and squealing, and go home. You have successfully created a band name.
Go home and draw what you saw, and there is an album cover too.
Bands that have used this method:

Between the buried and me
Death
Megadeth
Gory Blister
Psycroptic
Carnal Forge
Alestorm
Sceptic

2. If they say yes, call them a liar, and go back home, look at some lolcats and summarize the events of your day anywhere between one to five words. You have successfully created a band.
Bands that have used this method:

Crotchduster
Diablo Swing Orchestra
Obscura
Liquid Tension Experiment
Nevermore
Pestilence
The Absence
Theory in Practice

I hope I have helped you.

While eating breakfast i did google searches. The practice of naming your band after a song you like is a time honored tradition but i've always thought it was kind of weak.

Those are the only ones you have that aren't being used in some way.
Of them I like Abstract Reign and if you're Straight Edge Hardcore Sobriety Uprising my be apt, but corny.
Woops...didn't see this before I posted, in this case Abstract Reign does seem pretty good, if not, Immortal Calling.
Holy Neco! I don't even remember posting this.

Breakthroughs in Zealotry. It sounds cool, it makes you sound like you're pissed as all get-out at religion, and... Wait, I want this name now. But, I'm already in an amateur punkmetal band, so, go ahead.

I'm not much of a metalhead so my advice is not to be trusted, but I honestly lol'd at Abracadaver. It's clever. It gets my vote.

Something starting with Anti- in my opinion would be cool
Hurray! We're the death metal band "Anti-Abortionists"!
And so I lawl.

OT: If it's rebellious, make it sound rebellious. If its dethmetal, have the word Death in it.

Make it On-Topic, or make it something opposite for the irony.

How about Rational Delirium? But I jest.
This thread reminds me of an teenage amateur band called Care Bears on Fire. Haven't actually heard any of their music, but I remembered the name because it was original. Unlike a lot of these names that you've come up with so far. The only one I remember from the list is Tomb of Doom, but only because it was so bad, and because of that wonderful... lyric that was written back on the front page. Baby baboon with a spoon on the moon, playing the bassoon in the tomb of doom. (I know, not as good as the other one, but you get the point).

Numbered Days
Lifeless Life

Time to put my blunt hat on.

They are all terrible names. I mean godawful, foul creations.
This is why the Metal genre is full of unoriginal idiots nowadays, because of the horrific unoriginality.
Wow man your cheery, got any suggestions instead of shooting down THIRTY other ones? I would agree that most were bad and generic, but they have some gems, Roulette and Ember to Inferno are quite good. And the name of a band does not have anything to do with the quality of the songs as you imply. The Beetles? Sounds stupid, great band. Same with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, HORRIBLE name but good band.
