You seem more interested in complaining then anything else here, you're not even contemplating people's advice at all. You just shoot everything down like it's hopeless. Hate to tell you, but if you don't DO anything, nothings gonna change.

EDIT: Well it seems you did find something. I retract my statement.

What are you expecting out of this forum? You shoot down advice, you deny you have any abilities of any sort, you give nothing but reasons while nothing will work, so at this point, what do you expect a bunch of complete strangers at the other ends of a series of tubes to do for you?
You have to understand he's in a dip and thats how people react when feeling down. So don't blame him. Even is he does not take our advice, he will see for himself sooner or later we're right.

Back on subject,
I'm sure you can find other courses to do at the unemploymency office. I'm not completely sure how things work in england but here you can follow courses without the need of a diploma.
I know he's in a dip, believe me, I do understand. I just went through a lovely go-round with my bipolar disorder, so I get it. Yes, it sucks. Yes, you really haven't been given many resources in your community so far as we know. Yes, it is going to be hard. And the only person who can fix it is you. I'm not telling you this to be a meanie, I'm telling you this because, as crappy as you feel right now, you can do it, and I'm glad you've started trying.

Also most [testers] only make less then 30k a year.
When I started it was around 25K a year 30K if i really pressed hard and maximized my overtime. It took me 5 years to work up to a managerial position making 45K... what a waste. Looking back, I should have leveraged into a development studio sooner than later but even then, I would have been at 50K if I was lucky.

Now, owning my own business I stand to break 80K in two years and maybe 100K by my third. After that, open more businesses!!! :)

Wow, seriously, people post fast.

I'm truly sorry if I offended, but there must be a job somewhere for you, that doesn't need qualifications.

Hmm, Have you tried professional Ebaying?
Yeah, someone managed to swap a paperclip for a house once, I heard. I don't know if it's true but I heard that.
He got a big paperclip and swapped his way up through increasingly large objects until he got a house.

I have tried studying....I have something wrong..I can't get my words down on paper.... is there something that can help with that?
Don't be lazy and just do it.

There's no magical cure to anything, most things take work that you won't want to do. You have to realize this and just do it, it will pay off in the end.

God, I feel like a Nike commercial.

I noticed most people are dealing with the 'no job' and 'not in college' issues. But I shall tackle the last (and in my opinion most important): you say you're always bored. Self-actualization is the key to not being bored. I recommend thinking about something you really like about the world, or something you really hate, and then doing what you can to change things to make them better. If you get a passion for something you get a lot more drive that you can apply to other aspects of your life. Instead of just getting a job because you're 'supposed to' you can have something in mind for that money, something important you're saving up for.

I also highly recommend getting RL friends, as support is something vital to success. Since you're not going to meet people at school or at work, I recommend volunteering (yet again for something you really care about) and that way you can meet like-minded people. And the more people you know the more likely you are to find a job anyway. So yeah, good luck.

And as soon as you can move to a big city you should. There are so many more opportunities.

I failed school at sixteen, had no qualifications to speak of got an office temp job. Which basically meant me sitting in a office putting files into cabinets for 8 hours a day, they always cry out for office junior positions.

Alternatively go to college and do some GCSE's as a sixth form course, get some work under your belt then do a foundation course and bang your in university. Took me till I was 25 to figure that out. My advice to you is do it now. Employment agencies are your friends.

Alternatively a friend of mine has worked in retail for over ten years and is now a manager so you can go from a crap shelf stacking job to management it may take time but if the people are good and the works not too tiresome its alright.

The most important thing to remember is its always much better than you think, at your age everything seems bleak I know it did when I was in my teens.

Attend your nearest church and (if and when you get a job) put some money away for investments. They pay for themselves and then [alot] some within a few years.
Oh fuddleduddle. Why did my post have to be the first one on the new page!?
