Gathering your like-minded fellows and your books and ditch the two jerks. DM yourself (or if anyone else in the like-minded category wants to stretch the old DMing muscle, or round-robin DMs for variety, ect) and just play without the problem players. If you want, include the old DM are a regular player (unless he starts acting like a total brat, then kick his ass to the curb too) and just don't invite the problem player back unless he's willing to behave.

Glory part about that, if he comes back to be a douche, then you know for sure he'll be dealt with, because your useless old DM won't be in control. Needless to say, don't waste your time when it's YOUR TIME and YOUR BOOKS and YOUR LOCATION.

Fun idea: When you start your new campaign, have the problem Drow be an NPC, and then kill him off viciously and in a hilarious matter, like claiming to the god he thinks he is and promising to lead the group, then tripping over a barrel and breaking his neck.

TL:DR - Don't stand for it, take your group, books and location and play a real game for fun with a new DM, and either invite the two problem players back under probation or just kick their asses to the curb, they have no one to blame but themselves and are toxic assholes.

is there a possibility you could post the character sheets of your party on here?

I also uphold the idea of grabbing the rest of the displeased group and ditching the DM and overpowered goon.

I'm mostly just repeating what's already been said, but the DM sounds like the real problem. It's his job to make sure everyone has fun. If he can't listen to his players, he's not doing his job.

If you don't want to outright boot the guy, why not have someone else in the group try running a game? And if the group obviously ends up having more fun than with your regular DM, maybe it'll hammer the message home that something is wrong with how he runs games.

While loosing a player is a concern, this type of player can often spoil the enjoyment for the other players, causing you to loose several of them instead. I'd suggest reminding him that it is a co-operative experience and perhaps push him towards one or two aspects that he can be the best at; for example: infiltration and special/utility skills.

However if (and from your posts this seems to be the case) he is intentionally breaking the game, just get rid of him and save yourself and the other players the hassle.

Now here's my question this time:
No, no, no. :)
Your question really is "what can you say about my DM ?"
And here's the answer : he has very low INT/PER/WIS scores.

No, really, DM isn't just to sit there and look nice. He is to enforce rules and mantain proper balance.
He should either :
- call a meeting and describe to said player what RPGaming is really about (hint : fun for ALL involved) or
- construct the scenario in such way that overpowered character won't make a difference or
- punish his character (curse or something)

There's nothing to really debate here, unless you're said DM.
Unfortunately, our DM is under the impression that Rules are against the spirit of D&D, which I have no idea where he got that idea. But the biggest issue with our DM at the moment is that he doesn't see a problem with what this player is doing.
You and the other players tell'em your quitting. They prob know how hard it would be to get another group and if they actually wanna play mebbe they'll pull there heads out their ass. Gotta get the other players kn your side though cuz looks like the DM doesnt care how it goes and the guy wont find another group if thats his mentality.

Use the spell compendium as your one supplement; get all of the broken spells, watch him cry as you do everything better than him as a single-classed cleric. Tier 1 FTW!

I don't have all of them on my, most of our players like having their sheets with them. Kind of a control thing I guess. But I can probably answer any questions you have.

I actually do play a Cleric/Contemplative. Most of my feats are set up to make my Buffs last longer, and you better believe I'm going through every book I can find for a huge spell list.

Unfortunately, his idea of "cooperating" is completely changing his class to something entirely unrelated to what his role is supposed to be. So now another player is having to completely change their character to fill the role he's leaving vacant.

UPDATE:

Alright, I think we've got to a point now where everyone's opinions have been voice and the general consensus is that we are all rather unhappy with how this player and our DM have been behaving. So the fix has been this, our troublesome player is going to change his character and everything is going to be okay'd be me personally. So far he's going Monk/Drunken Master so he can Role-Play Jackie Chan (no seriously), and I can hand make any cohort I want with my Leadership Feat, within reason of course. Everyone seems to be pretty happy with this since his character FINALLY makes sense, and I can make a cohort that fills our Skill Monkey role that's been lost to our Player making a Monk.

So our party, as of right now, is Me as a Cloistered Cleric/Contemplative, a Druid/Sorcerer/Arcane Hierophant (this may sound weird, but this has been okay's for months), a DuskBlade/Sorcerer, a Wizard/Bloodmagus, and finally a Monk/Drunken Master. What do you think? Quite a bit of magic going on there, but it's what people like and I can't really complain since I'm a damn Cleric.

Oh my, I haven't seen a 'monk' in decades. Seriously. I used to use one (his Quivering Palm technique was nasteh... look that one up, 1st ed.)

But seriously, with all the magic you guys have flyin' around like that, it's actually kind of refreshing looking at someone who's set up to do nothing but physical damage (believe me, it really is refreshing). It would also seem that the other problem in your group still exists, your DM. If you can manage to get him/her squared away and flying right, then you should be able to go about your campaign.

He's actually changed AGAIN to a Warlock. But our DuskBlade has changed to the Rogue/Master Thrower. He was wanting to play a sneaking class in the beginning but he decided to play something else when our trouble player decided HE wanted to play the sneaky class.

Okay. It's official, your DM sucks somethin' fierce. He's the one that needs to go for allowing all these changes and never once actually getting the campaign started. I mean, that's his damned job and maybe for not doing his job, as it is with the real world, he should be fired.

He's really bad about trying to please everyone, because he doesn't want to look like the bad guy. He's got such an aversion to conflict he's willing to put everyone through this JUST to make sure he can say it wasn't his fault

We have saying around here : "born c*nt won't die canary"
He is not fit to play the role of DM.
Suggest that he should stick to writing adventures.
There's really nothing more to say on this matter.
Period.

I'm rather inclined to believe you, but it's something he really wants to try his hand at. He fancies himself some sort of writer, and ever since he's been on this new ADD medication he's on, he's been working on stuff like this almost nonstop.

Well, i'd like to run around, burn houses, set people on fire and laugh maniacally watching them turn into French fries. I think i'd be very good at that. But, it seems that since we live in the society and we have take other people into consideration, we can't do everything we want...
...because of that i'm living here in a very nice place called A-something Asylum. I believe that everyone has his place on the Earth. I'm where i belong. Your DM ? There's a place for your DM too, but it definitely isn't on the throne he occupies right now.
Oppose him. Show him his errors. Revolt ! Overthrow the wrong government ! GONDOR NEEDS NO KING ! BURN ! BURN EVERYONE ! Wha... ?
Take that syringe away, take... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... ;)
