I'm mildly hopeful about this one. DC needs to relearn how to smile and laugh a bit. Of course, Adam West Batman may be going a bit too far in that direction, but if it leads to more lighthearted moments to balance out the nonstop grimness in future DC films, then I consider that a good thing.

Still, only the upcoming reviews can tell me whether or not the self-aware humor behind this one will be funny or awkward.

Not a huge fan of the animation, and West and Burt's voices sound too damn old now unfortunately, but the writing and gags were decent for camp. Interesting to see WB take a stab at bringing the West show into the present, wouldn't think that that was a good bet. Maybe they're testing the water for how out there they can take DC properties.
