I like to think Deadly Premonition was ten times better than Alan Wake...

I just can't read comic books, I've tried many times... Manga though, I love...

Never seen Bladerunner...

I hated Ocarina of Time... Don't like Half-life... Strongly dislike MMOs...

Think Arcana Heart series are the best fighting games ever...

I kind of like IOSYS...

Fell asleep in theaters while watching Fellowship of the Ring on opening day...

Warhammer 40k, obviously. HERETIC!! Wait until I get the Ordo Xenos on your ass, I'm in tight with them.

MY personal heresies:
I liked Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I personally think The Phantom Menace is a great movie, despite Jar-Jar Binks. Face it, you COULD NOT have movies with seamless CGI like District 9 without Phantom Menace.

I DO NOT play computer games, haven't since I played Warcraft 2 over 10 years ago.

I don't give two shits about StarCraft 2, seems hopelessly overrated, if you ask me.

I only enjoyed Fallout 3 out of the entire Fallout Series;

I actually enjoy Spore;

I think the first Pokemon Generation was the most poorly designed and weak by comparison with the subsequent ones;

I both despise the Halo franchise and those who constantly proclaim their despise for the Halo franchise as a way of appearing less mainstream;

Team Fortress 2 is the best First-Person-Shooter of all time;

Children, I hate them;

I play World of Warcraft;

I think Hitler was right about many things.
You can't completely discredit the man. He did take triple digit inflation and made a working economy out of it.
Sure, when you're willing to exterminate your own population and build an army to conquer the entire world, you can really cut down on unemployment.
The killing of Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, mentally and physically handicapped, and the political nay sayers came later. He first got a war torn country to believe in themselves and find a mutual enemy; the powerful and rich Jews that "profited from the war". Can you really say that we (the US) did anything different with Muslims after 9-11?
Yes, yes I can. You don't see the entire Muslim population of the US in concentration camps, nor do you see us rampaging through every Muslim country slaughtering them mercilessly. Nor has every Mosque in the US been burned to the ground... Thats really an extreme comparison route to take my friend.
There have been quite a few Mosque attacks on American soil. I have heard enough of the armed soldiers brag about how they are going to go oversees and kill so many [racial slur]s. Also, I have seen two Saudi Arabian friends of mine taken from class based on rumors that there were "questionable Muslims" on the campus. This is how it starts, and it was (checks history books) 19 years from when Hitler was in the anti-semitic "classes" to when the executions first started.

However, maybe we didn't go as far because we saw what it could do and were afraid of it? But that sort of idea is more for the Religion and Politics board.

I think Joss Whedon is overrated and Dr. Horrible was not a good movie.
I hate Buffy with a passion.
I liked the setlist from Guitar Hero III more than any of the other games from the Guitar Hero series.
I don't care for the Elder Scrolls series.
I think that KoTOR is an overrated game with way too many bugs.
Oh, and I fucking hated Bladerunner. And no, I don't remember what cut of the movie I watched was and I doubt that rearranging the scenes would change my opinion of that movie.
Oh actually I believe it does make a difference. I remember hating it and thinking it was the most boring and pointless piece of shit movie I had ever seen. After watching the Director's Cut though I liked it a bit more. It's certainly overrated though. It has a good atmosphere to it but the plot is kinda dull, and the 'twist' at the end isn't all that great.

OT: I like Halo 3: ODST more than the rest
I liked Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty AND LOVED Mirror's Edge.
I don't like Gears of War and think it's a gltichy mess with terrible AI.
And this here's the big one...

Battlefield Earth rates as one of my favorite movies.

No, i'm referring to a rather funny short comic strip posted on DevientArt. It depicts, perhaps Ordo Xenos, decrying everything as heresy, including xeno-love, which made me laugh.

If anyone can find this image it will be appreciated.

not really, Hitler may have been the greatest asshole to have ever lived in our world, yes, as a human, he was incredibly terrible, but as a president (or leader of a nation, for that matter), he was almost flawless
He was terribly flawed. Seriously. He ran a dictatorship that barely lasted 15 years, think about this, most dictators in the world today have hung on for 20+ years, and they won their wars.
Also, his ridiculously flawed tactical acumen lost Germany the war on 4 different fronts. Think about that, getting your ass kicked 4 seperate times, because he was such an asshole and held the country so tightly by the balls that experienced military commanders with decades of experience under their belts had to listen to a sick old man, cranked up on methamphetamines all day. I don't know if you're just a dumb teenager without subjective wisdom, or some sort of pathetic neo-nazi, but if you read history, you'd know that throughout it's reign, the Third Reich was a bloated, corrupt, ineffecient behemoth of a government, fueled by fear and murder.
I don't particularly hate Nazis btw I'm fairly ambivalent concerning them. WWII did change the entire world for the better, and all because of Hitler's insanity, but quit kissing the guy's ass. History recorded on both sides blatantly shows just how shitty and ineffective the Third Reich ended up being in the long run. An effective and capable leader can generally implement and run a governement for more than the handful of years that Hitler had to totally fuck things up. Germany was a hundred times worse off after WWII than before.

I mean, I never thought so many users would participate in such a silly thread =P

one free internet awarded to each user in this thread, and the cookies are still in the oven, so you will have to wait

Its not like bigotry is a new thing. Also our leaders aren't promoting the hatred of Muslims, not even GWB did that. Rather it was directed towards a specific group "Terrorists" or "Extremist Muslims". How some people in the American public have reacted to the situation isn't the same as how Germany reacted to Jews. Different times, different situations.
Here's a scenario for you of an overreaction: Columbine. I had just graduated high school but most of my friends were still in High School. We all were part of a group called EvilCON because that was the name of our afterschool LAN parties, and we had t-shirts printed up that had a quasi-quote from A Clockwork Orange (one of our favorite movies) "Preparing for the ULTRA-Violence" and the like we were also a Counterstrike clan that went to many tournaments in FL. I still went to the school to help out with the drama class because the teacher and I were good friends. Then Columbine happened and all of my friends were rounded up and told they weren't allowed to hang out anymore, that they couldn't wear the T-shirts to school and even had downloaded our website and had the school lawyer present telling us they "knew our plans" as if we were all violent psychopaths bent on killing everyone in the school. All because of a gross overreaction by the media over the idiots in Columbine and the fact that we fit the visual stereotype. Nevermind that most of us never had owned or even fired a weapon. I also was banned from school grounds because of that.
On the bright side, we did get a little bit of media attention (an article blurb in the New York Times, A&E sent a camera crew to interview a few of us though I think we got shafted on the A&E special since they put a few harmless gamers in-between kids who thought they were vampires and satanic cult kids who murdered their parents....).

Sorry for the long off-topic post. I promise not to teal deer anymore.
