Well, it's late, I'm a little inebriated so I will take up as little time as possible. At the party we started discussing sexuality and the question came up whether I, as a male, had ever kissed another male. The response I got to a "no" was a question of why not. I replied that as a heterosexual, I didn't like it and thought it was unpleasant to watch two men doing so. All hell broke loose with people calling me homophobic. I got angry and went home. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

fixed the spelling.

Nope. Most people understand that homosexuals like kissing women as much as heterosexuals like kissing men. In other words not at all.

Ermm... Well I can't say that I have.
people I know would not react like that if they found out I had not kissed another man... at least I do not think that they would.

No, I don't care who kisses who, none of my business unless they kiss me.

I haven't kissed a guy either but if other guys want to kiss... hey, whatevs.

I think they were angry at you because you said it was "gross", not because you said you had never done it.

By the way, drinking and posting don't mix.

Huh, well that's a new one. I've never heard of someone getting chewed out for not experimenting with something they have no interest in. Perhaps you weren't the only one who was drunk?

EDIT: Would quoting a certain Katy Perry song be alright? I'm guessing this thread is too serious for it...

We need to invent a new word just for this thread. "Heterophobe" should do nicely.

Well ive never kissed another girl in a passionate way, and i hate watching lesbians or gays kissing. Its not that i have anything against them, infact i used to work with a guy who was Bi, and several of my mates are Bi and have had several same or opposite sex partners. Its more just that it doesn't look right. You get brought up thinking your meant to love the opposite sex and then as you get older you realise "hey i can fancy the same sex also".
I also hate watching couples kissing anyway. I refuse to kiss in public, for some reason i just don't like watching others, so feel i shouldn't sicken anyone else either.

No, never happened to me.
But I have admitted that I have three man crushes. For those who are interested they are David Tennat, John Barrowman and Simon Pegg.

I would've expected a bad reaction from them if you had kissed a guy.
It's not weird that you haven't, but maybe you should've left out the bit where you think it's gross.

People can go around kissing whoever they want, as long as they can keep their affection for themselves in their own private space. That goes for every sexuality out there, openly displaying physical romance (holding hands and hugging is fine) bothers me.

And I've been kissed by a guy, whilst drunk.

Not really. I mean I've hung out with a gay friends before, but he knows where we both stand and it's all good. I've got nothing against gays, so long as they don't try anything with me then I'll happily befriend one.

My peers are idiots who don't know the definition of homophobe, and anything that is even minutely strange is considered 'homosexual' (gay >.<). So no, this has never happened to me.

It's strange how dumb these people were/are... unless they were drunk. How they could all agree callin you were a homophobe and that if you do not do a 'gay' act to the second level you were immediately given the title of homophobe.

If they were drunk, talk to them when they're sober. If not, then set them straight of jumping the gun.

Probably attacked you for using the word gross, which would probably seem to them as though you were being homophobic. You weren't you were just being a bit dumb to describe it like that, even if its how you feel.

But anyway it doesn't bother me at all. Although I was in a situation once when one of my retarded people who I used to be friends with for some reason said I was racist for saying "Ew" when someone smother chocolate on their arm cos it looked gross, it had hairs in. Anyway he launched into some self righteous speech about how I was being racist becuase he thinks I meant that becuase her skin looked brown she looked horrible. Yeah he's a gigantic tool.

Anyway I didn't mean that I meant the chocolate looked horrible because come on, it had freaking hairs in it.
