You're 14, you're barely out of elementary school, you should be out having fun.

Go climb trees, make some mischief.

You're still a kid, girls are the least important thing at your stage of life.
Girlfriends come and go, but childhood only comes once in a lifetime.
I was in grade 10 (highschool) at 14, how is that barley out of elementary? I don't see why people say "oh you're 14 doesn't matter at all, go climb trees"
When I was 14 i was not climbing trees, i was doing drugs and fapping because i didn't have girl friend. I can see why he wants a girl friend.
A lot of people lose their virginity around 14 - 16 too, it just seems like you would have to be pretty damn out of touch when you think 14 year olds are still in their childhood climbing trees and pissing them selves over cute little dates.

Ask her out, be confident and don't look like a kicked puppy if you get turned down. At 14, it ain't the end of the world.

Most of all, don't go thinking like this is IT the one and only chance at love you'll ever get because she's the be all and end all of all women. That, my friend, smacks of desperation and is a complete turn off.

Ya'll could attempt to take over Poland as a nice weekend date, I hear they're in quite a tough spot over there.

All you naysayers... Do you remember when you were 14? I'm pretty sure you all had crushes, too, and wanted to act on them. Hell, you probably also posted on random message boards asking for advice. I know I did.

Now, I wouldn't have been ready. If I did ask her out, my life would be way different. But if you really want to, just ask her to catch a movie. "Hey, want to go see a movie on ____?" If she says it doesnt work, ask her if she'd want to go another day. If she says no, say "Oh, ok. I'll just go on [original day] then." You've been rejected, but at least now it seems like you were just asking her to hang out with your friends, and she feels stupid for thinking you were asking her out.

Oh god, isn't that the exact same story for every young teenager?

Just ask her out. Better to be confident about it than be shy.
