While browsing and answering forums, I saw quite a few TF2 related avatars and got me thinking about my reaction when some stranger on a different forum had the same avatar as me on a different website many years ago. I was not happy.

Ive had this exact situation!

All wearing a type of black top, i told everyoen to go home and get changed (we were going clubbing). My two friends came back wearing the exact same shirts. I lol'd hard.

I went out to town and found a decent shirt for £35 ($56) to go out on a friday night. Hit the bar, and walked into another student wearing the same shirt. We both did a doubletake, looked shocked, then both went "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

The only person I can think of that could possibly have the exact same avatar as me is chromewarriorXIII, and that's because he made it. Although some guy on YT had my old Rutger portrait avatar, and one of his videos was the basis for my last avatar.

I do my avatars and all such imagery by myself (often from scratch too) so quite a slim chance there. My usernames/nicks and so on are very original; never a person/celebrity/trademark/whatever I've seen elsewhere. Many of my nicks in recent years have included Ben (which is nowhere even remotely close to my real name btw.), so that of course is used by others, but never even close to the same as a whole. In FPS multiplayer games I've used tons of different names and have never crossed one neither.

On some occasions if I can't use any of my regular nicks, I have always already had made a profile/account with that name, and forgot.
