I tend to use a name and avatar that does not proclaim me as a fan of anything and or supporter of anything, so I find that people do not use the same things. If anyone used Beldaros though I would be suing them as the character is an original in one of my books, until the book is published I hope noone uses this name. As for the avatar. Well on some online things I am known as "Humpty Dumpty was pushed!"

I changed my avatar a while back. It did not pop up, and while browsing the forum games section I found somebody with the same avatar that I just changed to.

Nope, I tend to make my own avatars and sig files. I think the only thing that came close is someone used my steam avatar on thier website at one point, but since i'm rarely on steam i wasn't too worried. my username has been unique to me for the past 12 years, with one exception where someone was trolling with my name,but they only made one post.

And I can't get a facebook account because me, my mom and my dad all share
the same e-mail address. My mom has a facebook account using that e-mail.
So unless I get my own e-mail, I can't get a facebook account.

OT: I don't care if someone has my exact avatar if I got it from Google, as Google is the world's most popular search engine, but if it's customized like it is now(thank you again furburt), I may ask them why they felt the need to take it from me. Also, effilctar is just my surname backwards. I did originally invent the username but my cousin has stolen it from me on many sites. I don't blame him as it's his surname too, but I'm a bit pissed that he stole it.

EDIT: Though, on Call of Duty, everyone in my school has the clan tag SWHS(St Wilfrid's High School). One time, me and my friends were owning on World at War, and some little ****** with 2 kills 15 deaths changed his tag to make it look like he was with us and we really did shout at him for it to the point that he refused several times so we left. He actually left too and joined our lobby so we kicked him and all submitted a bad review.

I used to have a picture of kaepora gaebora (owl from Ocarina of Time) with the caption of ORLY underneath him, but then I noticed another escapist had a similar but different picture purely out of coincidence, so I changed to this picture. Ive never seen anyone else with this avatar, and if I do see someone ill strip the meat from their bones.

Paddin is my unique name, I use it for all my internet goings, apart from youtube where someone beat me to it.. Is it just me or is there a running trend of youtube stealing names?

Nope, I've seen a few people with Bruce Campbell avatars, but I tend to befriend them immediately. I make my avatars myself, so there's probably not going to be a copy.

I do remember the day that new person decided to copy paste Sassafrass's avatar (which I made him) and everyone called him out for it.

EDIT: Oh fuck! I completely forgot about that Furburt2 guy. He stole my name and avatar and everything on my profile, even my IP address. He almost got me banned, because they thought it was an alt and I was already on suspension. I think it wasn't some random troll though, I think it was someone who really hates me on here.

I saw someone with the same Avatar as me. He was new to the escapist and it wouldn't be nice to tell him to change so I did to this one. I think that the change was an improvement though so it's all good.

Never had to use a different name on any sites before, but that's due to the 1089 on the end. Seen a lot of Alpha's but I've never seen 1089 on anything but my usernames/email address. My avatar was found on a NanoFate shipping site so if someone else has it they more than likely visit the site, making them a fan of that pairing and an awesome person in my books.

It's a fairly common avatar apparently, but I assure you I did not steal it from you or anyone else. I saw the picture on google a couple years ago (on the L4D411 forums) and started using it.
At least I changed the Tie color.

There is an Xbox Live user who has the name "one of them" but his account is silver and his gamerscore is extremely low, which makes me think he made an account and simply never plays. I really wish I could have that name and not be stuck with the super immature "0n3_0f_7h3m".

You make them your avatar the same way as normal pictures. Also, I would like to do that, but my previous avatar was actually from that scene, so if you had it everyone would think you're me.

If you want it though, I'll do it (actually, I'll probably just give you my old one) but people will think you're me, and it will get annoying for you.

You'd be surprised, I gave billyshakes my old avatar and people still mistake him for me. People see avatars first.
