Well, all my classmates actually hate each other and are drama addicts (much in the same way Americans are oil addicts). The funniest part is that there are only two really distinct personality types: the future frat bra and the preppie mcprepster (for those of you out there, yes there is a difference). Come to think of it, thats my entire town (save the small amount of "gangstas" and wiggers).

Did any of you ever have any embarassing/frustrating rumors spread about you in high school? Or bullies who heckled you? I only had one rumor incident, (i hope) and it was embarassing AND frustrating.

My Sophomore year in high school one of my friends told me that this guy was interested in me. I'm single, and he was very attractive, so I went for it. We hung out a couple times and were sort of dating without making a big deal about it. I was a carefree/easygoing person in high school. (pothead gamer girl to sum it up)

So, one morning in class, an "acquaintance" told me who she had had her jollies with the previous weekend. I was feeling conversative, so I told her about mine. When I told her she got this funny look on her face and I knew I had made a mistake. After class, I saw her walking acrossed the grass to none other than the guy I was seeings ex-girlfriend. I think they had gone out for about two years. I saw them talking and looking directly at me, and I knew I had made a mistake by telling this girl about my weekend.

So, I pretty much stop talking to this guy, just because of the fact that he was pretty arrogant and not really for me. No kidding, after hanging out with him enough I saw that he was full of himself, and thats not attractive to me. But, even though that was over I wasn't done with his ex girlfriend yet. Unknown to me, she was still in love with him, and was busy spreading rumors behind my back.

So I go to school one day, about 2 weeks after this guy and I stopped talking, and one of my friends asked me, "hey, are you stalking so and so?" I honestly forgot this girls name besides her first name, but I'll spare it. I told my friend where she heard that, and she told me, Oh, "so and so" is telling practically the whole school that your stalking her and the guy. (The one I went on like, 5 dates with)

At first I didn't believe it, because it wasn't true. But soon given how many people confronted me about it I knew the rumor had spread like wildfire and it was serious. Now honestly, I didn't know what to do because I had never confronted a situation like this. Everytime I walked past this girl in the school I would hear my name being said and chuckling. About a week later, I was being heckled by just about everyone about things. People thought I was in love with that guy, and stalking his ex. I had a class with one of his friends, and they were telling the class about a concert they were putting on, then he looked directly at me, and said, "And "so and so" will be there..." That frustrated me enough. I didn't know what to do. The same girl that I told about my weekend who told this spiteful ex girlfriend asked me a day later if I was driving past this girls house at all hours of the night. I honestly didn't know where this girl lived. I actually had one of my friends who knew where she lived tell me where she lived so I could avoid that street alltogether. I really wanted to confront this girl, but thought if I did things would get worse, and I knew things would just blow over. Honestly, I would have rather have been falsely announced pregnant or something, than stalker, because that makes everyone think your insane.

Then finally, one day in school, a teacher mentioned it in front of everyone. He said, "I heard you were following "so and so" around", followed by "Thats what she told the whole class yesterday." That was the last straw for me. I seriously thought I needed to go speak to the principal, firstly to complain about the girl and also the teacher for heckling me about it. But I decided not to, I thought it would only make things worse.

So, one day after school, I pulled into my driveway and got out of my car, only to look behind my car and saw "so and so" sitting in my driveway with her friend. I walked up to her car and she said "We need to talk." and I said: "You bet we do."

So she followed me to an unannounced location that wasn't my driveway. As I walk up to her car she told me: "You need to stop stalking me." I said: "I don't know whats going on that would make you think I am, besides possibly being spiteful."
She said "Your driving past my house all the time, and I know it's you, I know your license plate number." (Yes, she really said that)
I said "Who the hell is stalking who? You know my license plate number? This is crazy."I avoid you at all costs because of this, and your too dim to get it, If I see a car driving down the road that even resembles yours, I make a hard right turn just to avoid you telling people that I'm stalking you, we live in a small town, we're bound to run into each other." I said "I even had a friend TELL me where you lived, not that I can drive past, like your telling everyone, but to AVOID it."
She kept trying to interupt me, and take control of the conversation, but I wouldn't let her. I wanted to end it then and there. I told her "Lets just end this, you won't talk about me, I won't talk about you, or your stupid guy your being so vengeful about." and "The more you bring this up, the more you are starting to look like the crazy one."

And then, just as soon as things got bad, things got better for me. The rumors and heckling stopped, and I knew I had handled it well. So and so's friend that was in her car the day we confronted told me that she believed every word I said. She thought that "so and so" was crazy. So, things turned up for me, but that was BY FAR the worst two months of high school for me.

Actually, about a year after that, I was riding around with my friend and "so and so" called her. She asked me after she got off the phone if I wanted to hang out with "so and so". I said no, and promptly took her back to her house. My friend told me, "She said she's sorry, I think it would be good if we all just hung out."
I said no still, I said "I'm sorry but that girl made me look insane when I wasn't doing anything wrong. Just because she was upset that I dated her exboyfriend a couple times. She made my life a living hell for awhile, and causing me to go into my house and hide from something that I wasn't even looking for in the first place."
So after trying to persuade me again, she gave up, and went into her house. That was confirmation that the worst of high school was over.

Now, 4 years out of high school, I look back at that situation and laugh, because, the situation in itself was retarded, and I think people just ended up thinking that "so and so" was the crazy one. Just sharing a high school story, what happened to you?

Hang in there, madamoiselle!

Sorry, studying French 2 now, and I figure I've gotta use it some time.

Either way, I support you fully! That woman's some sort of psycho *****- you were right to stand up to her. Nice!

I was surprised when on my first day at high school, a guy I had never met asked his girlfriend if I was the psycho kid from the primary school. That was odd.

In year 8 a guy, Ryan, walked up and while I was drinking, he hit the bottle and it split my lip and the drink went in my eyes. I gave him 10 seconds to run. Counted down, then caught him. We got seperated by teachers and taken into a class room. The teacher told me to be quiet and let Ryan tell his side...his first words "he's a cocksucker". I sidestepped the teacher and king hit him, breaking his jaw.

To this day I laugh whenever I think of that poor fool.
King hit...
Does that just mean you punched him really hard or what? Please explain.

I didn't actually go to high school, had home hospital due to a few weeks into high school they realized I have Sociophobia... I would worry about people who don't have sociophobia in this day and age.

Sometimes I've wondered if I have something like that. I always get really nervous when I go out. Like, a couple weeks ago, some friends were visiting and they invited me to a party, and I had to drive around for about 15 minutes before I even started to the party, just to calm myself down, and reassure myself that they are my friends and I have nothing to worry about. I don't trust people, at all. It's hard to establish a trust bond with me and it's also hard to re-establish it when it's broken. I also notice myself drinking A LOT to curb the anti-socialist in myself. I end up being completely blitzed, and end up doing things that I regret. This is about everytime I go out. I can't just have 2 drinks, it always turns into 10, and then I'm screwed for the night, and the next morning.

My strategy is to become friends with the kids who are... questionable in mentality. People don't know if they're crazy or not and don't bother them or me.
King hit, as far as I'm aware of its usage, describes a large and wild punch to the head which results in a knockout. Due to the amount of force used a King hit can also break bones in the victims head, cause brain damage, and break bones in the attackers hand and wrist.

Never really had any rumours started about me but the younger sister of one of my friends (aka the biggest attention whore on earth) started a rumour that she was pregnant at like 14, and perpetuated it for a good 2 months until people realised she wasn't getting any bigger. Suffice to say she ended up with very few friends after that.

this was last week; there is this very obnoxious kid in my class who thinks he is the coolest kid ever, and blames his problems on everyone else, well one day he was sick from school. i told everyone i could find that he got expelled for masterbating in the gym lockerroom. I'm not a bad person, or a bully, but everyone would agree, he's an asshole.

Secondary school has been like a big fun toybox full of people to screw up and manipulate. At the moment I've convinced one couple that the others cheating on them with the same guy (both bisexual), so now they both hate each other and the other guy, the other guys depressed because they both don't like him and so he hangs around with me and buys me food. Ahh and I'm putting in a plan at the moment to get rid of a rival over this girl I like by telling his friend that he hit on his girlfriend so everyone will think he's a complete perv. It feels so good to be able to tell people about these, ahh the wonders of the internet and school

...Yeah I don't think I have any, but I'm still in high school and there's still time. I don't like most of the kids in my school, most of them are idiots, but they never annoy me or spread rumors or anything about me or anything, and I don't do the same to them.

There actually is a kid at my school who got suspended for masturbating in the school bathrooms, and a teacher who got fired for looking up porn.

Woot, the teenage angst thread, now we can share our irrelvant middle class woes!

Reading over this stuff, I am so glad I go to an all boys private school, meaning that everyone, by this point (run up to the GCSE's) is beahving pretty sensibly and not being to much of a dickhead. Also, no girls to mess with the sweaty teenage boys and all the fun that comes with hormones. In fact, first contact with girls on any sort of (dare I call it) romantic level tore my previously close-knit band of gamers and metalheads apart, beacuse the girls hated each other (for reasons I really could not fathom that seemed unbelivably trivial) and so my mates began to hate each other. Fixed now (kinda) but still....

We got a few rumours, and I did use to have the shit ripped out of me early year 7ish, but those guys have since come round and are now really quite cool (apart from one but hey, he's a racist git). That, plus some dipshits on the bus, but then I discovered the wonders of the iPod, and no more do I have to listen to them. Also, most of them have since left school, and all the mahussive dicks have left the school forever. Go figure. This does mean I have but a couple of girls as freinds whom I only converse with over the internet, but the majority of teenage girls are better left alone. This was meant as no offense to any teenage girls on this thread, but you've already called yourselves bitches so I'm taking advantage of that. After all, guys tend to forgive and forget.

On another note, what's the difference between High School and middle scholl, and for that matter, colledge. We only got two schools (primary and secondary. Also university, but that's optional. Hell, A -level's optional) over here, so I'm feeling slightly confused. Little help?

last week i got tied to the flag pole at lunch by the so called "popular kids" in our year while their friends threw their lunch at my face. The deal was if they hit my head they got to punch me 5 times in the stomach.

the part of that deal that didn't make any sense was that they could stand as close as they wanted . . . I hate high school

I can't believe it! I also had a similar rumor spread in high school. Last year in my sophomore year, I was new to school and had no friends yet. Well I hanged out with this girl from my class and she was really nice. While I hanged out with her, she had another friend(I'm not going to say her name but I'll refer her to as S) with us. I didn't really know her and barely talked to her. I hanged out with them for about two days and stopped because I found other people to hang out with and besides I could tell that those two girls weren't my type. they sure weren't because I was shy and never said much while they seemed to love talking crap about people 24/7.
Nothing much happpened until about 4 months later a friend of mine came up to me and told me she heard a rumor saying that I was stalking S. Of course, I knew that it wasn't true, but I was surprised at how many people thought it was true!I would say that it was the most hurtful thing anyone have done to me. It was awful because random people especially the "popular people" pointed at me and called me names. It got to the point where I couldn't walk down the hallway without my friends because I was so scared. And know what made it worst? She rode my bus! Her and her friends would call me really hurtful names and I sometime stayed after school purposely becasue I was scared. I didn't know what to do because I was never put in this situation but when my friends and teacher found out, they were shocked that this girl was still harassing me. My friends took me to the counselor even though I didn't want to go because I thought it might become worst and let me tell you what, the counselor at my school takes harassment/bulling seriously and told me that if it gets worst to tell her. And of course the counselor called her in and talked to her. S was angry at me becasue I told on her but she never messed with me again. I don't know what the counselor told her but it sure did make her stop.
When people heard about this, they came up to me and told me that she was a bit*h and talked crap about everybody and that don't worry about it. I felt better becasue no one messed with me anymore or call me names.Everytime I think about it, i wondered why I was so shy and didn't confront her. To think about it, I should have went up to her punched her but that would have put me in suspension and she's not worth getting me in suspension.
Anyway, I want to thank all my friends and teachers for being helpful and for all those people going to through rough highschool drama, don't worry about it becasue your not the only one going through such rough time.
