I'm not too sure about this one myself. I loved the first season, but I'm not sure I like where this one is going.

I adore Alois though.

Give it time. The first one I hated pretty much the first few episodes. They were interesting but very very weird (As victorian times with demon butlers and the episodes with the Ciel traps weird) but when I got round to watching it I enjoyed it. I'm thinking the same will happen here. Still enjoyable though even if it isn't quite as good in my opinion.

It's really great, with the action, zombies, reactions, and bewbs.

I dunno, there's something about him that I can't help hating.
The tap-dancing certainly didn't help, and his unnecessary table-setting method.
I guess he just doesn't live up to Sebastian who, as you said, is pure awesome.

Seriously don't go into HSOD expecting a lot. It's just the core of mindless entertainment in the zombie genre. It's this simplicity that makes it great. Guns, Swords, Blood & Gore, Badasses, Boobs. That's all you really need.

Hell I love the screwed up sections of fanservice, though they're not all like that. Especially in one shot where

Haha honestly I can agree with you to an extent but Episode 1 really was the most fanservice heavy. Having read the manga while fanservice is interspersed it's really things you can write off or not notice because of the zombie killing taking place. It does so many things right, the animation is stellar and the music is completely fitting. It's really not a show to write off just for some fanservice.

Oh dont get me wrong, not watching a series isn't something id do without taking a good look at it.
iv seen a bit and to me its 50/50.
It does some things superbly, like the Atmosphere of a Zombie Survival Series.
But it also just has things that put me off, no matter how its implemented.
And not having read the entire manga there are some things people are saying they cant wait for the series to show that makes me go "de f***?".
One i keep hearing about is an Orgy Bus?
Plus even if i wanted to watch it, there is no way id be able to due to my "Living Conditions"

Though overall, im a bit tired of Zombies.

Why do so many people seem to be against fanservice?

Its not that we don't like our favorite characters cracking out the swimsuit now and then, but too much of it can ruin its, to put it bluntly, seriousness. Whenever a big tittied woman comes ( hurr-durr)on screen, the only thing that we will pay attention too is her tits. Don't lie, its true. And when they are jiggling about, it ruins the atmosphere. During an epic battle between antagonist and protagonist, a busty girl with her ta tas flying about will seem outo of place, ruining the tension.

You explained it perfectly. I mean think about it how seriously would you take 28 days later if the female character Selena was replaced with Pamela Anderson in a bikini.

But anyway I'm loving the series, hell I fucking geeked out when I heard the background song at the end of the first episode. They blatantly copied the 28 days later song "in the house in a heartbeat" at the end.
