haha, well it's a bad idea. Cause if its remotely like the game, it should get boring increadibly quickly. There are too many things wrong with that idea to get it to be even plausible, apart from the fact that gullible casuals are going to watch it. Oh wait i just answered myself why they are going to watch it.

The rumor is Keanu Reeves, not Mathew McConaughey.

I understand it might seem cool to talk with a cajun accent because you saw Gambit do it at the movies the other night, but its really not. In fact... its never cool to type with an accent.

The rumors are all completely speculative right now, I sincerely doubt either of these actors would be casted in a live action anime film adaptation. Of the two, I think McConaughey would probably pull off a more convincing spike. Reeves just doesn't have the ability to pull off a happy go lucky secret badass attitude. McConaughey on the other hand has that roll nailed down. Also, seeming as to how bebop is a western, his southern draw might come in handy.

I mean... can you seriously imagine spike saying "whoa," every 10 seconds?

Or saying "I know kung-fu?"

This one came to me, inspired by someone's mention of a Disney version of Neon Genesis Evangelion:

GTA 4 : The Movie

With the Jonas Brothers as Niko & Roman Bellic, Zac Efron as Dimitri and Miley Cyrus as Kate McCready (sp).

If anyone wants to continue filling out that cast list, that would make for a brilliant adaptation.

I want to see this Disney Neon Genesis Evangelion you mention.

I could go on about ways to ruin it and make it hilarious. One of the Jonas Brothers would be Shinji, the blonde girl from high school musical would be Asuka, and Miley Cyrus would be Rei. Zac Efron would be Kowrou(sp) and Jessica Alba would be Misato. Oh, and Robert Downy Jr. as Gendo. They would have musical numbers about destroying the angels, and the high school parts would, obviously, be a musical. It would be amusing later and earlier with Shinji to see Disney actors psychologically broken. And Zac Efron would die. And lastly, it would be great to see End of Evangelion remade with Disney actors. Especially for the blonde playing Asuka. And Jessica Alba would be awesome dragging one of the Jonas Brothers around.

I went on so long since this idea inspired this thread. And speaking of anime live action movies with Disney actors, I would be deeply horrified and amused by Disney Haruhi and Lucky Star. Or any anime, really. Even school life ones.
