Oh well, I might play this, if I for some reason Die in the zombie thread than i will more than likely move to this one, or start a thread for deciding the next one, that is if Mr galt would be interested in such a thing. If not I would gladly play this.

Why don't we use this thread as the deciding point. I don't think Mr Ciarog has planned this thing through, complete with twists and turns while some of us Galt, me, Larenxis, have been painstakingly writing out a few. Sorry, to be a kill joy, but two RP's running at once could make things a bit cluster fucked and could annoy a few people.

I'm working on a 30's RP in the American Mafia era centered around The Mob and the Movie Industry, back in the days when it was glammer and stardom. Also there's the usual cast of detectives, reporters, etc.

I think the RPs are getting so popular and so active that having two at the same time is a good thing. Not saying I'll play both but keeping each readable for the average follower would be nice. I'm playing in the zombie one and sometimes even I can't stomach reading two pages every day.

The zombie one's gone a bit out of control. Good but chaotic.

To Pie: the best way is to say that the RP takes part in the mobsters territory. Leave your territory and you get shot by mobsters.

Sorry for the late response but I'm real busy with work and sickness in the family at the moment.

To answer a few general questions:

1. This RP will probably be shelved until the zombie one ends or until someone important says it would be a good time to start it.
2. Anyone who has questions about the armies, organizations, equipment, or history of the battle may feel free to ask me either here or via PM.

To answer a few specific questions:

I'll play, if this thing gets off its feet.

I'll be an ANZAC. Standard rations, with my Lee-Enfield (if possible, can I have a marksman variant?). I'll also have a Luger, something to remember that I took a life.

Ok. For your weapon you have a choice between a Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk III*(HT[Heavy barrel, telescopic sight]) or a Pattern-14 No. 3 Mk I(T), either one probably equiped with an old Pattern 1918 scope. An American Enfield may seem anacronistic, but they were seeing quite a bit of use early in the war, when Commonwealth snipers were still getting their act together. If your character is unlucky or masochistic he might find himself in possession of a Canadian Ross rifle. As for you rank and unit placement I can discuss that with you via PM.

I would do it but
A: The zombie one isn't anywhere near finished.
B: I don't think I have adequate knowledge on how people acted or what hadn't been invented.

The former will be solved with time, and the latter you could help me out with perhaps?

If we ever start this, I figure I'll be the devil's advocate and try and RP as a German officer, I've always wondered what it was like to be a Rommel.

Good idea. I'll probably do that for my second character (either German Mountain Division or Italian Regina Infantry Division, depending on how the battle goes).

I want in but can't decide on a guy. I know I want to be a ANZAC shooter or officer, hot-headed and fairly smart. Male 18 years old, good with a weapon but not close combat, likes to joke.

Winsome Starlet does work more perfectly then you know.
So I guess an army next is it? Or is it still just out there for people?
