I wouldn't know about running SA or Contracts on a PC (I still recommend Contracts), but they came out for all the major consoles. If you go for the PS2 or Xbox version, both games should cost almost nothing as long as you have somewhere you can guy secondhand games from.

I'd suggest Ebay or Half.com, but that might not work if you're in Europe.
I'm in the US of A
Oh, then you can find copies of both games for PS2 or Xbox for probably less than $10 total.
I picked up a PS2 box set of Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money a few weeks ago for $20.

How is that better than paying about $5 per game?

But it's still not a bad deal.

None of those games have a place in a "best games ever" list (though I only dislike one of them, CoD4, the others are not completely amazing in every way, or at least most ways).

OT:

Best game ever? Not by a long shot.
Best Hitman game? I preferred Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Much more memorable.
That depends on each person. These are in my best games list

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
Mass Effect
Fable
Left 4 Dead
Bully

Must. Quote. Out. Of. Context.

OT: I downloaded the demo and didn't like it all that much.
What level was in the demo?

If it wasn't A New Life or A Murder of Crows, you weren't really playing Blood Money. The first tutorial mission is downright boring and linear. Completely unlike the rest of the game.

Alright hear me out here. I've spent over 1000 hours playing both Oblivion and Fallout 3. I love tthem both and they take 2nd and 3rd place respectively. But Hitman: Blood Money is seriously the best game ever. I've played through the campaign on every difficulty and I still come bck for more. Every month I find myself strangling people. The music is unbelieveable, Jesper Kyd masterfully crafted the perfect soundtrack. The story is compelling, The Gameplay is fantastic, THe music is compelling, and there is no shoehorned-n multiplayer component. Best Game EVAR? I think so.

(Discuss Bitches.)
I loved the game. It's a great blend of stealth, creativity, good gameplay mechanics, and violence. BUT, I definitely don't think it's " the best game ever". Good- Yes, Best Ever- No

Good great. Great game. Excellent game. Without a doubt.

Best game "evar"? Matter of opinion and taste really.

If you particularly liked the stealth elements of it, I would say games like Splinter Cell and Thief were better in that respect.

If you enjoyed story, well can't blame you, it was interesting. The targets were all fascinating, and it was awesome how vulnerable they were. Rather than taking eight sniper shots to the head, they died just like everyone else. Plus Agent 47 himself was fun to play as.

The combat was really great, although it was buggy as hell. Sometimes you needed to quickly dispatch a person before another person turns the corner, but the killing animation was sometimes randomized leaving you in a very awkward social position when the guy's buddy was staring at you decapitate his buddy with a guitar string.

If you liked it for the dick potential, I personally find Prototype more equipped for that.

The difficult difference between all the levels was well balanced. Over all though the game was easy, despite there being 25 different ways to kill the target, it usually consisted of the same routine, grab a costume wait for them to go off alone and look out into the distance over a balcony then push them. It was the easiest and safest way, and the trial and error nature of it made you resort to this ***** tactic.

The game was varied and was a jack of all trades master of none kind of thing. Above average in everything, but never really excelled in any field.

Yeah, it was the tutorial mission - I had to kill some themepark owner. I'd written the game off after that demo. Maybe I should give it another look.

Sorry dude, but IMO the title "Best Game Evar" goes to "Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past"

Yes. I'm a Zelda freak.

I would suggest doing that. All the other levels give you a lot more freedom, if nothing else. I can't ensure you would like the game, but that first level is a poor representation of what's ahead. Especially in how it lacks dark humor and clever disguises. And again, all the other levels give you freedom to play how you want.

I'll give you that Link to the Past was the best Zelda ever, but Chrono Trigger is my favorite game.

And Link's Awakening was highly underrated.

So, you like the game and that makes it the best game ever? I liked ''Riki Kunio'' for NES, does that make it the best game ever?
I liked Hitman: BM, but i got to admit that it was not a good game. It was bugged up the ass, you could have killed everybody without using stealth, the story was NOT compelling. I liked it because it was the first game, that i played where, you were an assassin. Some of the missions were a lot of fun, but some of them were so awful that i almost uninstalled the game.
But, again, i liked it.

I felt Hitman 2 was more tense, and felt more like an assassin game.

Blood Money was a bit too easy.
Yeah but I could crush people with pianos! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! Plus it only felt easy because you have stuff that a hitman should actually have, (eg. sedative syringes, poison syringes etc.) instead of stuff like ether and massive eyebrows.

Either way this is just a bit too fanboyish a topic.

But can't it get somewhat repetitive? I mean the enemies do the same pattern over & over.

Maybe you find you have mastered routine, so the harder difficultys are easy - Now you have no challenge and thus it makes you feel better. Am i right or am i right or am i right? Right, right, right!
LOL at the Groundhog Day reference.

OT: Yeah, I think it's a real good game. I don't now about it being the best game ever but I did enjoy it when I played. Although i haven't played it in a while... goddammit now I have to go get it.
